Charles N’Zogbia has admitted he is unhappy with his role at Aston Villa, and has had communication problems with manager Alex McLeish. The winger, signed for £10m from Wigan last summer, has failed to make a significant impact at Villa Park, and has not been an automatic first-team choice this season.

In an interview with L’Equipe, the Frenchman explained: “I was bought for 11.3 million euros (£10m) and I am not playing. I still think I make the right choice, but speaking about the game, it doesn’t fit.

“I’m not exactly jubilant. I like to go forward, but here they ask me to defend more than attack.”

N’Zogbia also responded feistily to McLeish’s suggestion that he should focus more on football than expensive cars.

He said: “If I get paid, I can do what I want with my money. He’s not my father to tell me what I should do. He doesn’t know where I come from.

“McLeish and I had problems of communication. We discussed it, and we put our bad feelings to one side.”

Everyone hates him but I love Steve Kean. He looks the type of bloke who needs an arm round his shoulder, I'm absolutely desperate for him to do well to shut those backward cunts at Blackburn up. Every time I see Blackburn Rovers, they playing well, Hoilett will be a big loss for him though. We should slip a cheeky one in for him of about £3m in January if he doesn't sign his contract, although I think we'll be well down the queue like. If we could get Maiga, Hoilett, and a genuinely top class centre half to compliment what we have, call me deluded but I wouldn't swap our squad for the WPs.

Predicted they'd stay up comfortably and they will. There's only one Steve Kean. Castell you can come back now pal (with apologies).

There isn't actually a prediction there septic peg?

I said on numerous occasions they would stay up on here and twitter. Look at the last tweets of @2narme and @weldy1980 . That Billy Castell mug fucked off, because I criticise their pathetic micky mouse witch hunt of Kean. Delighted for him, 28 points, 6 more maximum and they're probably safe in my opinion.

Aye he's got 28 points with 9 games to go and they're one spot above the relegation zone and you're predicting that they'll end the season on 34 points. What a manager.

Can't imagine what Castell was worried about. You don't half talk some shite.

Well I take more notice than people who take a passing interest in football. That being the case I'd say 6 points gap with superior goal difference off the relegation spots (and two places not one), with Bolton, Swansea, Norwich, WBA and Wigan to come I'd say they've got every reason to think they're not home free but they're not far off. Which is a different position to where they were 5 months ago when wankers on here, including Castell, were saying Steve Kean was the worst manager in football history. He's made the club a fortune in transfers, had to make do with scabby frees, some of them inspired like Yakubu, and there's light at the end of the tunnel, he's done a fucking amazing job. Delighted for him. What I suggest you do in future is when you have no opinion on something or lack the knowledge to contribute a decent point, is saying nothing to avoid looking like a cunt.

 Oh noes I'm not obsessed enough about football and being a professional geordie to enter into a conversation with you. You're right though, 28 points with 9 games to go is a magnificient achievement by anyone's reckoning.

I'd sooner look a cunt than be a bigot btw.

Took you six minutes thought to put that together. Tremendous retort. The first sentence pathetic, I presume you're tired, shite abuse you're normally quite good at it too.

Looking at the facts 28 points isn't magnificent, but when you look at the shit he's been through with his own supporters, players being cunts like Nelsen and Samba, hands absolutely tied by the owners, in fact in my view they didn't sack him because they knew no one else would put up with what he has from them, for them to be sat in the position they are with a bit of day light is an absolute miracle. He's managed to put together a side who have scored 10 more goals than Liverpool, more than us, on top of all of that who have been crippled by one of the worst injury crisis in the clubs history, and he's going to come out smiling. As was mentioned last night by Merson, not that Merson is qualified to vindicate any point, but he's right Kean has acted with dignity and not many managers could get through what he's been through. So I don't want to get all Leazes-esque about it, but I was right he would come through, Blackburn would stay up when everyone else was questioning my sanity, so if I want to mention it I fucking will.

 What was my thinking time on this response? Merson as corroborating witness, oh dear.

Well the fact you mention Merson AFTER I actually say "not that he's a credible source" indicates to me you wish you hadn't have bothered.

For people that are interested in the relegation battle, all of the reasons I've stated above point to the fact he's been one of the managers of the season, and even when they were losing as I stated a few times, they were playing fucking well, fans at Ewood Park have been more entertained than we have this season. Fifth highest scorers in the division?!?! He deserves a fucking medal. We haven't had a game at home like their 4-3 wins over us and Arsenal. I tell you something else as well, lets be honest, we struggled for most of the game to break the mackems down, whether we like it or not they're a well organised compact unit, the shots tally last neet? Blackburn 18 Sunderland 2. Once again well done Steve Kean.

The man is very lucky that he has four worse teams below him, this time last year 28 points would have been 19th position.

For all his 'achievements' he's still lost you 50 quid.

The league had different teams in it last season so it's not really a fair comparison. Who's to say they wouldn't have got 18 points off West Ham, Blackpool and Birmingham, and who is to say they'd have got 0. It's like saying in 02/03 he'd still be 15 points off safety with 9 games to go. First time he's had no tossers like Samba causing unrest, first time the injury problems have receeded and he's won 5 of the last 10.

If I was him, I'd have got in the car last night and put Elton John on I'm still standing and blared it all the way down the M6 with a big smile on my face.

Aye, as I stated then, and I'm still stating, bunch of wanks. They don't deserve him.

BTW, Eric Black has to get a lot of the credit for their recent resurgence.

Aye fuck all to do with Kean, Eric Black should be the man receiving all of the praise, Kean largely a bystander.

Who was it who made the decision to appoint Black? I'm sure Venky's knew all about him.

Take no notice of the Blackburn season ticket holders. Stevie knows better than all of them.

I suspected the craic about them getting lucky with the teams in the relegation zone was true but couldn't be arsed to look it up.

I never said that Kean shouldn't get any of the credit but the improvement in their defence has to be largely down to Black.

Aye and what an impact he made at Sunderland this year eh? As soon as he fucked off with Bruce Sunderland's defence improved. The Blackburn defence improved, because the whole team is more settled, Nelsen and Samba pining for a move for months didn't help, plus their injury problems ended.

Well Blackburn season ticket holders have seen 10 more goals scored than Liverpool (spent £90m) have this season. All of the Blackburn fans were saying they were relegated, when they refused to see the big picture which was all of the problems I have mentioned. It was a frenzied irrational hate campaign against Kean, and the daft cunts who had a 24 hour through the night protest must feel fucking stupid today having just saw their team obliterate a top ten team last night. They're a decent unit, you don't win at Man Utd if you're not like they did this season, you don't win at Old Trafford and get relegated in the same year, was obvious once they settled down they'd be fine as I said many times, and they will be.
