Ayatollah Hermione 13873
Bale hasn't been consistently excellent, I can't remember anything he did before Christmas, he has had a 3 month hot streak and now is injured again. Suarez deserves it despite being a buck toothed racist. Aye, as much as he's a thoroughly dislikable chap, he's been carrying Liverpool this season far more than Bale's been carrying Spurs. Tremendous footballer whose close control is different class.

The Fish 10857
Since taking over at QPR in November, Redknapp has only won four of his 21 Premier League games - giving him a worse win ratio (19%) than either of his predecessors, Mark Hughes or Neil Warnock (both 20%). Tom 14011
Couple of German journalists I trust are treating it as legit on Twitter, but obviously you never know. Confirmed by both clubs. Pretty disappointing that after a long while being the most competitive league in europe is might be regressing to a monopoly based league. Though obviously they won it by a good while this year. It could also see Klopps side broken up & he might fancy moving on himself - probably to Man City - which would be depressing.

Monroe Transfer 0
Urgh. I absolutely hate, hate, hate the way Bayern just continously hoover up the rest of their league's best players. Gotze, Gomez, Mandzukic, Pizarro, Dante, Neuer, Gustavo etc and the likes of Klose in the past. The timing (for BVB) is appalling too, right before their semi. Tooj 17
Says Bild. A tabloid. The German equivalent of The Sun. It's true though as they've matched his release clause. The whole deal makes me feel http://twentyfour7football.com/matthaus-fans-feel-betrayed-5160 Former Bayern Munich midfielder Lothar Matthaus has said “the fans feel betrayed” over the announcement of Mario Gotze joining the club.Gotze’s £32 million transfer to Bayern was confirmed by his current club Dortmund on Tuesday morning. The 20-year-old had previously stated intentions to stay at the 2011 and 2012 Bundesliga champions – Matthaus believes “this damages the whole of football”. Matthaus told Sky Sports News, “The fans feel betrayed, the comments Mario Gotze made in the recent past (about wanting to stay at Dortmund) don’t make him credible. “This damages the whole of football.” Dortmund boss Juergen Klopp said that he has known about the transfer since the day after the Champions League quarter-final tie with Malaga. Matthaus added, “Anybody with mischievous thoughts will now think back to the (Champions League) quarter-final against Malaga. “Gotze was a decisive player and wasted six or seven big chances. He showed nerves then and this whole thing has certainly been developing for a while. Maybe now it’s just a relief for him that it’s out in the open.” On the timing of the announcement, just before Dortmund face Real Madrid in the Champions League semi-finals, Matthaus said, “It’s not fair, it’s unbelievable.”
Tooj 17
Also Cavani to PSG rumoured. http://www.football-italia.net/33417/psg-agree-cavani-deal-report French radio station RMC have claimed this afternoon that Paris Saint-Germain have agreed a deal to sign Edinson Cavani. The station have revealed that the Ligue 1 side have come to an agreement with the Napoli forward over a four-year deal. It also believed though, that Carlo Ancelotti's men have not yet got the go-ahead from the Partenopei for the move – however, the striker does have a €63m release clause, which PSG are expected to trigger. Cavani has been linked with a host of Europe's top clubs in recent months, including Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City.

Tom 14011
Urgh, I really hope not. I think very highly of the man and would hate to have my preconceived notions squashed like that. Yeah. I'd tweeted Dan Walker from Football Focus a few weeks back when FF thought Man City could basically just go and take him - it seemed so stupid at the time and I told him it was unlikely - he'd basically tweeted ''watch this space'' so there's a chance he might be in the know. They'll get rid of Mancini I think - so they can basically have the pick of the bunch bar a few - the likes of Pep/Mourinho. It would be a shame to watch the bundesliga go to shit but I'm not sure that's going to be the case. There's strong ties between Bayern/Dortmund in a business sense & it was a release clause after all - so perhaps it wont effect the league that much & I'm not sure it will be the catalyst for a mass exodus at Dortmund - I think the team is too strongly bound. Brock Manson 0
That's some transfer policy - buy your main title rival's star players after walking the league. Can't be doing morale much good ahead of Dortmund's CL campaign. I reckon they'll be in for Subotic next.
