And not an eyebrow was raised in surprise

Not quite, the head of the Black Lawyers' Society is accusing both sides of a coverup. This is the same guy who rushed to tell the media that black players were in talks to set up their union despite zero evidence of this.

But he's definitely not just a hungry media whore.

A few papers reporting that City are willing to spend £40m on Suarez in the January window. He's certainly got the right face to jump a sinking ship, mind :rimshot:

no chance that'll happen imo

if they're(or anyone tbh) going spend that money they'll go for someone with less baggage and more flair like neymar/falcao/cavani/jovetic

Fuck you, a boy can dream, can't he?!

I clicked on the link for that story and the first photo -

Now I'm not going to pretend I haven't loved some detestable players who have pulled on our shirt but how any fan, Liverpool or not, can look at that picture and honestly say they don't want to punch that tosser a number of times is a massive liar.

Suarez is a good player, playing in this league. That probably puts him right up their list even if there are better players they could get for that sort of money.

Like an early Chelsea where they were trying to hoard all the half decent/not that good but purple patch players.

Their forward line is probably worth more than most squads as it is, wouldn't be surprised if they chucked Suarez in their as well. My only hope would be he never got a game so I wouldn't have to see that smarmy, cheating twat again.

Looking at flying over for the mackem game next April.

.com have it down as a 1.30pm kick off on Saturday.

.co.uk & the premier league have it as a 3.00pm on the Saturday.

I know it's likely to be changed on police advice(early kick off) and Europa League or FA Cup progress.

Reckon I'd be safe booking for all day Saturday & Sunday? There's no way they'd play this midweek, would they?

Flights are cheap at the minute and as a member, I'd say I'd have a good chance of getting tickets. I'd appreciate any suggestions anyway. Cheers.

Just did a bit more digging. A long-shot, but the Europa League semi-finals are being played the Thursday prior, which would move our fixture to the Sunday.

FA Cup semi-finals are scheduled for that weekend, so either team getting that far would bollock up my plans also.

Just book sat and sun and you'll be fine, no way it'll be moved to mid-week as the Police wouldn't have it.

Thanks, that's what I would have thought, but any FA Cup involvement at that stage would force them to have it played midweek?

We wont get that far under Pardew. Despite his patter I don't think he gives a fuck about the cup.
