ChezGiven 0
I saw Tim Healy et al (from the 8 Bells) in Tilley's before the last home game btw, Chez. What was that song again?
McFaul 35
Newcastle/Fulham is a game destined to be shite. I can't recall a good one. The one where we had 31 shots and they had 4, yet we lost 1-4, was actually a class game. There was one just before my time where we were 1-2 down in the 90th minute Super Mac was Fulham manager at the time, and we won 3-2 Kenny Wharton getting the winner. Oh Jesus, I can't remember. And Stevie, that Kenny Wharton game rings a bell. Might've been the one where we broke our duck against MacDonald as he had a 100% record against the club (as player and manager) for a long time iirc. Guest alex
Btw, was it not a variation on "Show me the way to go home, I'm tired and I wanna go to bed"?
luckyluke 2
Tbf, I should probably use my own insults. Especially if you can't remember them yourself It'll be like finding a needle in a haystack though. Let me know when the brain trust comes up with an insult lads. I had that MOTD Newcastle video years ago, ye might've had the same one, I always got some type of toon video as a stocking filler, and iirc there was another 1-4 on it with Super Mac as manager. We must've been main game on MOTD Keegan's first season, Fulham had Ray Houghton and other class players and they tore us apart, and I can believe that record like, he got a hattrick against us for Arsenal on the same video. Aye, I'd love to know where that went. Best one I had was actually a Warner Brothers one, 90 minutes of the history of the toon, focussing on the likes of Bill McCracken and Hughie Gallagher, up to the days of McGhee and Quinn. Pornstar backing music for some reason though.
Guest alex
Remember that one KK did (I think it was a year or two before he came back as manager)? NUFC's Greatest Ever Team. I think Gazza made the bench

I think Gazza made the bench Aye he was sat in the Milburn Boxes, Bob Stokoe was on it too, he couldn't talk properly. I can't remember who made the team pretty sure Tommy Craig was one of them though for some reason.
McFaul 35
On one of them I remember Bobby Moncur's crack about winning the Fairs Cup, was class. He such was the Hungarian's domination we could've been 10-0 down at halftime against Ujpest Dosza and it was only 2-0, and Joe Harvey walked in and says what's the matter, he says foreigners they're aal soft as shite, attack them and they'll fall to pieces like a pack of cards and that was it, he turned roond after 20 seconds and walked back out smoking a tab, 30 mins later we were 2-3 up. ChezGiven 0
"And the wallpaper sticks to the wall"? Or something, Chez. Fucking hell, aye that was what i think is called 'the refrain'. Something to do with Time Bandits? I do remember around 8pm, there was a slow realisation that what was once a pub rammed with our lot had slowly morphed into a quiet couples pub with well dressed middle-aged folk avoiding eye contact with the 3 loons singing at the bar. Poet, Warrior, King wtf is that all about? Fair point. I thought it was a bit more interesting than on the bench, and tongue in cheek. At least, that's what I think it was about, it was six years ago. I should probably change that. I'm keeping the Ted signature though.
