Happy Face 29
Villa and Fulham have an identical record and can't be separated in the table. Really small time that one.
The Fish 10963
Given the owner (via the manager) has stated simply finishing top half is their aim; could that be a reason for the pervading lack of effort from the team?

ewerk 31195
Given their identical records it's strange though how the media had been talking about Jol getting the sack and how Lambert has turned a corner with Villa.
Happy Face 29
Given their identical records it's strange though how the media had been talking about Jol getting the sack and how Lambert has turned a corner with Villa. To be fair, Villa have played 6 of the top 7 and 1 of the bottom 9. Fulham have played 3 of the top 10 and 4 of the bottom 5.
McFaul 35
The Chronicle reporting we are being approached by Celtic to host one of their home games in the Champions League while Celtic Park is being used in the commonwealth games. ewerk 31195
It'd be a qualifying game. And if there's a chance of the club making a couple of quid out of it they'll undoubtedly roll out the red carpet.

ewerk 31195
It'll also be used for Commonwealth Games events. There was also talk of them moving the game to Dublin where they'd get more of a crowd but I don't know if UEFA would go for that.

Tom 14013
9) "Time!" The ball drops from the air and a player finds himself in acres of space. Pointing this out to him might seem a good idea. It'll calm him down, allow him to get his head up and play a pass, rather than treat the ball like an unpinned grenade. However, when 10 other players scream "Time! Time!" in unison, it tends to have quite the opposite effect. The futility of the situation is laid bare when, after giving away possession easily, the player is offered a final, withering, retrospective observation: "You had time. That's me all over. Perfectly calm before every fucker starts shouting TIME!!!! at me.
TheMoog 0
Given the owner (via the manager) has stated simply finishing top half is their aim; could that be a reason for the pervading lack of effort from the team? It's certainly not going to help - let's face it, why would a player bother putting any effort in if they thought that all they needed to do was just enough to stay in the top ten? I can't imagine many players wanting to join us in the future personally, not if they're not going to be even attempting to win stuff.
