TheMoog 0
LLAMBIAS REJECTS SHEARER CRITICISMPosted 02/02/11 07:34 Newcastle manager director Derek Llambias has hit back at Alan Shearer over his criticism of Andy Carroll's sale to Liverpool, claiming he does not care what the club's record goalscorer and former manager has to say. Former star striker Shearer found the £35m departure of star striker Carroll on Monday "staggering" given they had brought nobody in to replace the 22-year-old, and after reassurances he would not be sold. But Llambias said in The Sun: "Do I care what Alan Shearer has to say? "When he ran this football club [in 2009] we were relegated after picking up just five points from his eight games in charge." Shearer called for the money received for Carroll - a British record transfer fee that was quickly broken when the Merseysiders sold Fernando Torres to Chelsea for a fee believed to be around £50million - to be reinvested in players in the summer. But Llambias insisted: "[Owner] Mike Ashley has only ever put money into this football club. He has never taken a single penny out. "And he won't take a single penny of this £35m either - all the money will go to the club and we are already working on identifying transfer targets for the summer." Charming man that Derek Llambias.... He said that? Really? says it all, doesn't it? I don't think Al is some kind of God at all, but do wonder how a man can be blamed for relegating a club in seven games. The regime were responsible for relegation and for this utter fucking cretin to suggest otherwise seriously gets my urine bubbling over. I don't think I've ever held anyone in charge at NUFC in more contempt than Llambias, and that's no mean feat, he is the Goebbels of NUFC but not as talented. Personally I hold Llambias in more contempt than I do Ashley. Me too, if Ashley got shot of him and brought in someone either more fan friendly or knowledgeable about football I'd feel a lot less hatred towards the fat man. Guest alex
Llambias is a symptom of Ashley's cluelessness in regards to running a football club rather than the real problem, i.e. the man himself. Also, Dekka's feet are well under the table, as evidenced by him being allowed to sack Hughton and replace him with a mate. I realise there's nepotism throughout football btw but there's a massive difference between employing someone you've worked with before and giving someone the job because you know him from your casino days. LoveTheBobby 1
But Llambias the said in The Sun: "Do I care what Alan Shearer has to say? "When he ran this football club [in 2009] we were relegated after picking up just five points from his eight games in charge." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There really couldn't be a more unsuited , snidey and slimey individual to relate to anything to do with NU , more so , to people of this region . Could hardly word it to be more inflammatory (and worded knowingly so) Derek - if I wanted to hear an arsehole - i'd fart . The smarmy article's a true creature of the night - a worm of an individual who's prepared to run around naked for his gaffer upon request ffs !? The tragedy with the publicity , money and hysteria related to the EPL these days is that some clubs can sadly fall into the hands of minted ballbags - many of which transpire to be whimsical , nonsensical wierdos . For now our particular overlord of greed chooses to play fans like a table at Aspers while smearing his own rancid faeces all over the cloth . . . . However , like the odour of a fart , they won't linger too long . Their ghoulish shadow casts a shorter shadow with every passing day . .

Monroe Transfer 0
Not sure why anyone would want to watch that. I'll be avoiding Liverpool games in the future just so I don't have to see him wearing that horrible red shirt. I'm as bitter as I was when Ferdinand (and Ginola) left to go to Spurs. I've hated Spurs ever since even though they didn't do anything wrong as such.

shackbleep 0
Found it interesting that Dalglish found it necessary to have a dig at the media. Wonder if that injury is more than they're letting on?
LoveTheBobby 1
When Sky twin-screened our game and showed AC coming out onto the pitch infront of the perma-mourners I couldn't help notice how satisfied he looked ? His over the head return applause to fans and swear he was kinda nodding his head in a "ah this is it baby - i've arrived . oh yeah it's me alright " . . Sure he aint gonna shuffle in but it was borderline cocky from what I made of it . Good luck to the kid though I guess . Mind if he doesn't get off to a flyer he'd better watch they dont start burning shirts or posting up youtubers . Fickle fucks . Anyone miss Keys n Gray last night either by the way ? Nah me neither . Holden McGroin 6451
On Friday we had agreed a fee of £22m with Liverpool. Which leads me to 2 questions 1) Did Liverpool actually pay £35m or is that just a lie from Ashley's camp. 2) Why the fuck did we not even identify any targets. Gemmill 44094
Raphael Honigstein on Twitter: btw. I'm told Mike Ashley brazenly upped Carroll prize by £10m on Monday. Liverpool thought they had understanding for £25m another source just confirmed Carroll price-hike story, with one small clarification: initial price agreed on Friday was £22m Mark Douglas (Sunday Sun and Journal sportswriter) in response: @honigstein Certainly not what the club are saying. #nufc sources say Sun night was the 1st time they contemplated selling @MsiDouglas well, someone's lying then... @honigstein I'm honestly not knocking your sources. My head was spinning on Mon: so many claims & counter claims... @MsiDouglas I didn't take it that way, no worries @honigstein I was told as soon as anyone went to 30m, all bets were off. If they were selling at 22m... Wow @MsiDouglas there's more to it. DM me Then you've got a load of people saying "Put it on a public forum, the fans deserve to know", but there's nowt on either of their timelines other than this from Douglas: @honigstein Everyones got an agenda! But yeh,#nufc interests best served by saying they wouldn't sell. Your info v.interesting Honigstein has never struck me as the type to make stuff up.
