Not a defence of Ashley in any way but where does a young lad, currently out injured, with half a good PL season to his name get the idea he's worth a new, improved contract just after he's signed a new, improved contract? The game fucking stinks man.

Think that all comes from the agent. Who is the agent?

Oh aye, I realise that mate.

so much written when one word would suffice.....

GREED

Press conference underway but not expecting anything different to whats being printed today

Who by? The player? The Club? The Agent?

Aye, all is likely.

Press Conf so far is Pardew saying:

Andy misguided in his comments, if he wanted to still be here he would be.

I first heard of bid at 8am. My advice was to reject as there wasn't enough time to react.

We made a couple of bids last night. Extortionate prices quoted.

I am weaker today than I was. Am I happy about it? It is what it is.

Maybe because he put in a transfer request?

Well what he has to say certainly ties in a bit better with my made-up completely dramatised version of events. :D

Not sure if you're taking the piss but your version is convoluted and a bit implausible and mine is based on the influence of agents and him actually handing in a transfer request.

Hardly fucking surprising considering the world knew we'd just been handed £35m and were desperate for a replacement, is it? Christ how thick are those cunts in charge?

You haven't responded to the 10 minute turnaround on transfer request submission, acceptance, and acceptance of Liverpool's bid hitting their website.

I don't think it's either convoluted or implausible. My version also involves the influence of agents and him actually handing in a transfer request.

How are we all coping, is it safe to come on yet?

About as desperate as bidding £8m at 10.50pm for Adams, tbh.

Can you please, kindly fuck off. Neebody like ye, neebody listens to ya shite craic and neebody wants ye here.

Fuck off.

Like Modric and Pienaar against Fulham's midfield.

Christ, that bad?

I cant imagine any stone has been left unturned on here so no point digging over it.

I'll let you all wallow.

:D You're all heart you.
