Anyone blames Carroll in this, they can frig right off. This transfer request shite is solely for face-saving and excuses in press conferences and statements. Feel a bit sorry for Pardew having to say it with a straight face.

Not saying your wrong, but Carroll could have said no.

I'd bet a fiver that if there was some footage leaked of a meeting with Llambias and Carroll, that Llambias basically told him to fuck off so they could have a good drink at Aspers and spend 10% of it on some knacker from the Championship.

As much as the club could and should have knocked this back, the same applies to Carroll, end of.

he's 22, not very bright, has been offered millions and millions to go to a club with ambition and likely work with people who are not complete cunts.

hard to be too harsh on him imo, and fuck knows how he has been manipulated so BFMA get's his way.

We need TWO new forwards to make up for this.

Pavlyuchenko and Cole could be bought for less than 35 mil.

aye because that would be amazing....

Cole is shite and pavluchenko is a half hearted waster and is apparently too fond of the vodka.

Totally disagree with you there.

Im a ST holder born and bred in newcastle, theres not a chance i would have been away imagine the response he'd have got from the fans for saying no and staying put. Probably difficult for you to grasp not being from here.

Exactly, just like Seb Larsson has done to us and others.

Anyone who thinks that this deal was sprung on Carroll today is incredibly naive. Liverpool wouldn't have bothered with a bid if they hadn't already had some sort of indication from Carroll/his agent that he'd be interested in the move.

Oh fucking do one you've had your moronic biased tongue thrust firmly up the rectum of the board for god knows how long now,

"don't worry lads they're doing well!"

"Alan's been told carroll won't be sold!"

"but we've signed Hatem!"

so now that all the fucking lies and deceit has once again been confirmed, you don't think they can put pressure on a 20year old to make sure he fuck off's when 35m they won't reinvest is in the balance?

Honestly in the words of Stevie you are a mug cunt.

Seems others agree with me.

As I said at lunchtime. Signals were given 2 weeks ago. It's why Harry piped up out of the blue.

It's more important what we do now, rather than dwell on Carroll. He's fucked off and a large amount of that has to be because of the distinct lack of ambition at the club.

If the owners are serious (which I know they aren't), they will dig into the pockets and invest tonight. If we look at it logically, it's around £40million in the kitty. Maybe Ashley can invest £20million himself. So that would be £60million. That could buy 3/4 very good players. Lets see though, it's the timing that's fucked us over and makes it all the worse.

Agreed, the money isn't much good to us if we're in the Championship next season.

As intended, obviously.
