The two trainers in the USA version have personalities (unlike the brits) and really camp up and make the show. Oh dear. Fat moaners, gan to the gym you divvies. I was once 16st12, and I thought fuck me I'm a right fat bastard I could get away with it cos of my height, but these oh dear, that bloke 30st, how do you get that fat? I just can't see the attraction of watching obese women with their bellies exposed. When I was a kid I'd watch films like Amityville and The Omen with a pillow at the ready to cover my eyes at the scary bits. Honest to god I had to cover my eyes towards the end when they were getting weighed, the last woman, she had like 6 derbies, like a cow, just horrible car crash telly. In general, its not too difficult to get to a certain level of fitness. All you need is mental strength and if you are so set on not being a fatty then that shouldn't be a problem. On one hand it's good to see them working hard but the eliminations are a bit crap and most of them probably won't keep it up. There doesn't seem to have been much emphasis on them changing their lifestyle and the way they think about food, as evidenced by the glee in their eyes when they saw the cake etc last night.
