shackbleep 0
Daft argument to suggest they're not financially well run tbh. I reckon they've reached their glass ceiling though, much like Douglas here at Vodaphone. Based on the fact that we have qualified for the knock out stages of the champions league and this is the closest prem title chase in many years with the powers of Chelsea and united fading? Or the fact we now have players choosing to move to us over said teams? You'll not finish above Man Utd, City, Arsenal or Chelsea - end of. Your foray into the CL will be a one-season wonder. Granted you've done well over the last 18 months but I think you'll be a victim of your own success as those who've tasted CL will be wanting more. You'll never keep hold of Bale or VDV and as soon as those two leave then the cracks will only get wider.
shackbleep 0
Ignoring Berbatov 10m > 30mAnd Carrick 3.5m > 18m or my personal favorite Mido 2.5 > 4.5 hahaha yeah we're the mugs Can't live off the Berbasulk and Carrick spoils forever. Name the players in your side now that you think you could sell for a profit? Van Der Vaart might be one though he'd have a limited set of clubs he could go to, then there's Lennon. Bale's value will have gone up from the 10m you paid. Modric's value will have held. Huddlestone's will have risen. The rest will have dropped off. Gomez 8m Hutton 9m Kaboul 9.5m (you've already lost 5.5m on him) Jenas 7m+ Pavlyuchenko 14m Keane 12m+ Palacios 12m Crouch 10m dos Santos 5m+ Defoe 16m Bentley 15m+ Bassong 8m Dawson 8m Corluka 8.5m Fuck me, did they pay £19m for Crouch and Hutton?? The Fish 10849
and having only a passing knowledge of their own fucking team. From the man who rarely posts outside of general for fear of showing himself up? Fish, I bow to your knowledge of the game. Why bother posting when most of what I have to say has already been said? Seems a little tedious to write "I agree" all the time. I suppose you're immune to tedium, given your repetitive "banter" isn't it about time you edited a Wiki page? That refers to a team you're not obsessed with. Honest. Beeeee Lahky! Doesn't take much to make the fish bite these days. these days? I always bite, always have done. You haven't ensnared me in some Machiavellian trap Serious question Danny, why are you here, on this board? It's not for discourse about the game. It's an opportunity for you to post clichés and bollocks in an attempt to wind up some people you'll never meet. You're a grown man playing Knocky Nine Doors (or whatever you call it). You know if you'd come on here saying why you think Spurs'd win without all of the secondary bullshit, people wouldn't think you a cunt. But you didn't, so we do. I would be more worried about losing redknapp than either of those two. We made the CL without VDV and Bale would earn us massive money with his 5 year contract. Redknapp will have the England gig 18 months from now anyway. If Levy has half a brain he'd have Hughton back on the payroll already primed to take over. You made the CL because Liverpool dropped off and Man City hadn't reached their potential last season. There's no crystal ball about it, you're falling short of the top 4 - not by much, but enough. 'arry has already started the excuses by saying he's expecting Spuds to miss out.

shackbleep 0
I think Chelsea have had a blip - but to think they'll finish outside the top 4 is somewhat straw-clutching. I think they'll come back strong.

Rob W 0
The worst piece of business Tottenham did was selling JDHAY to Portsmouth for £6m and getting hiim back for £16m exactly 12 month later. Harry helping Peter Storrie out imo. Bent as my man bag that cunt. Last year of his contract not much we could do about that. All we did was right off the wedge they owed us for Kaboul. He had 18 month left on his contract. If you were to rank the Premiership clubs 1-20 in terms of much you dislike them, obv Arsenal would be top where would we come in? above Manure??? - I think not
