topcat 0
I'm driving a minibus full of school kids from Glasgow to the Arsenal game in a few weeks - first time at St James' since 1987 so what's the parking like outside the ground? - arriving about 12.30 pm for a 3 pm kick-off - local Discovery museum aerial map shows a big bit of waste ground around Corporation Street - is this used as parking on match day? Cheers for any info - good luck in the derby game tomorrow.
manc-mag 1
If you can still remember it from '87 you'll be fine tbh, it's barely changed since then. The clubshop's moved from the edge of the carpark mind so there's an extra space there for your van.

manc-mag 1
Nah tbh I always used to park up on that estate on the hill at the back of the brewery. Astonished every time I came back to the car only to find it in perfect nick. Looks like one of the roughest places on the planet-absolutely rough as toast, but never had any bother at all. Get the train more these days but next to the RVI is a safe bet I reckon.

Took ye lang enough. THE WORST chippy I've ever bought something from. Am a fish and chips man normally but a got sausage n chips this one time from there. It's nee wonder the life expectancy in parts of Glasgow (Carlton?) is about 36, I was like do a get chips wi that grease. Bites in to the sausage, a thought what the fucks that, something hard like a boiled egg, looks doon, a full fuckin sheeps eye. I thought sausage was put through blenders and all the rest of it, not the stuff the blue lagoon sell. Fuckin sheeps eye, luckily we were goin home that day so a didnt need to eat owt else there.
