NUFC fans who live in Manchester...

Alright people,

How's things with everyone? I'm new to the forum and just wanted to say Hi and get myself known to you all.

Quick low-down on myself; I'm from Northern Ireland and have supported NUFC for 20 years and have recently moved to Manchester because of a new job.

Which brings me to my topic title. Where do any supporters who now live in/or from Manchester gather to watch the matches together?

I have checked out .com and they have a wee list of pubs (like the Lass O' Gowrie) where people might get together, but I'm not sure how up-to-date that is?

I understand that the majority of people on here might not know, but I thought it might worth a shot to ask on here to see if anyone knew of anywhere!

Anyways, nervous about tomorrow like, but I'm definitely up for it and gutted it's not on TV either. Can't even begin to predict the scoreline as I'm a fucking pessimistic cunt at the best of times! haha!

Looking forward to chatting with you all and to see if anyone has any answers for me.

TOON! TOON!

Been down your way a few times mate.

Not so many Toon fans in Bangor, but you notice a couple through the sea of Man U and Liverpool tops...

Its actually Salford but it might as well be fucking Manchester as Deansgate is bout 1min walk from my flat. Can see the wheel and the Cathedral from the window (just to give you an idea where I mean).

Oh aye, I know where you mean, up near the CIS-it's only Salford cos it's the wrong side of the river but it's slap bang in the city centre to all intents and purposes.

There's loads of places in the town centre to watch the footy but I don't watch toon games there out of choice tbh cos theres always an element that drink in the city centre that want to test. Lass O'Gowrie might be a shout mind you as it's a bit more studenty (and a decent pint). Once you're in the suburbs like most pubs have a decent handful of toon fans in wherever. I'd only recommend South Manchester though tbh as North and East Manchester are both shitholes and Salford (West) is just Salford. So a shithole and red.

From my seafaring days I remember Salford, the docks, and a pub called the Clowes, have a picture of it. It was a watering hole for lots of seamen. Wonder if it's still there.
