Ayatollah Hermione 14059
We're going down Liverpool for the weekend for a mate's 21st so we're looking for recommendations on pubs, things to do, the usual. We're all Beatles fans so we'll see the usual things to do with them but we're looking for places that may not be immediately obvious or good places to drink since we're all clueless to the city. Cheers.
Guest You FCB Get Out Of Our Club
Predictable this granted, but my recommendation is divvint gann. Shithole full of the most arrogant mouth charva cunts the world has ever or will ever know. You might get a shag though, because there's little competition, average height of the blokes is about 5ft7 and weight about 16st.

Guest You FCB Get Out Of Our Club
Apparently Southport is alright but that's about 15 mile away.
Craig 6700
For Beatles stuff, obviously get yourself down to the Cavern on Matthew St. The other option is Concert Square but IMO there's a greater proportion of "kids" there. Never been but I've heard the Beatles museum at the Albert Dock is shite so probably best to avoid. There's some canny bars down at the Albert Dock albeit a tad pricey. Guest You FCB Get Out Of Our Club
South of the lakes, the NW is a grotty wasteland of inexplicable arrogance in general. Blackpool, Bolton, Liverpool, Birkenhead, Wigan, St Helens, Bolton, Burnley, Preston oh dear - I'm sure god didn't want the earth to be like the NW. I suppose that's true of any city, add to that the rose tinted specs of nostalgia... However, I know that Liverpool is a shit hole

Nowt flash imo My mate used to live up Headingley way till about 8 years ago. Was canny I thought, he lived backing on to the cricket and rugby grounds. Canny pub up there called the Arc. Used to love going to Leeds, easy women, and we used to win nearly every season. Not a bad city at all, second best major city outside of London imo. Agree with York, left Leeds out because despite being the nearest big city to us I've rarely been there for some reason. From what I have seen it's no Manchester though. The Midland cities though, no character at all. Birmingham in particular has no merit whatsoever.
