DesperateDannyB 0
What now for the WHL development Danny?.....what are the "planning issues" that are causing the problems?...was Levy "planning" to have more cash for it than he's got?.... G-d how deep do you want to go? There are a few propeties around the ground refusing to sell up (Rudolphs being one of them - big pub next to the gates), however the council has said they will push through compulsory purchase orders. Then theres the infrastructure issues, an extension to the Northern Line was mooted but it is going to be expensive. That was Levys excuse for wanting to move us as the OS infrastructure would be in place. What they dont seem to have considered is that 60K athletics fans wont turn up half an hour before kick off like they will at football. My view is that AEG want to basically own that part of London and turn it into an entertainment fun land. I believe it was Levys exit stategy from the club, bringing in AEG to expanding their sports team portfolio. This will go to court no doubt. In our view our offer was superior in every aspect. Levy will cite outside interference from all those who have bad mouthed the club (including that slag Brady). And damages will be sought. Someone I spoke whos bank underwrote our bid told me if we lost you are looking at a 1bn law suit. So, hang on, you didn't want the new stadia, but you're behind a law suit to sue because you didn't get it? No I just dont like a jumped up dildo seller, quoting promises to the queen and bad mouthing my beloved club. Hope Sugar Daddy has got some money to lend her because she is going to need it. DesperateDannyB 0
YES!!! Im so happy about this. NORTH LONDON IS OURS!!!! We get to stay at Tottenham and laugh at West Ham with 20K in a 60K stadium!! Fuck you Levy!!!! Instead of 30,000 in a 60,000 ground if you'd have got it, both should be realistic about who they are, and stay where they are in my opinion. And there was me thinking Robson Green was good at fishing.
LoveTheBobby 1
Oh Danny boy, the pipes, the pipes are calling From glen to glen, and down the mountain side The summer's gone, and all the flowers are dying 'Tis you, 'tis you must go and I must bide But come ye back when summer's in the meadow 'Tis I'll be here in sunshine or in shadow Oh Danny boy, oh Danny boy, I love you so. Guest Marshall-Baines
The sad thing in all of this Danny, and there's no denying it, is you've learned about it on the forum of a different club. More than that, you're still here discussing it with us. If I'd learned something of that magnitude about NUFC - even if from a different source, I'd be on here talking about it - not with a bunch of people who don't have a vested interest. Erm i was posting on the spurs board about it before i came on here. I came on here to tell you lot and someone had beat me too it...god knows why as you dont have a vested interest (obsessed) link
Guest Marshall-Baines
I'm glad this is all over now. I'm sick of hearing about it. Exactly. Two small boring clubs with nothing about them fighting over a glorified Gateshead Stadium. No-one cares.

He will be suing just about everyone. I knew people would struggle with this. We have by far the best technical and financial bid on every count. Levy has bought in an army of Lawyers, bank underwriters and auditors to ensure that is the case. In his eyes, the only way this isnt done for Spurs is if: A. The decision is made incorrectly or B. The decision has been influenced by those defaming the clubs good reputation or C. Both A no confidence suit will be taken against the OPLC coupled with a lawsuit for loss of earnings AND lawsuits against those who may have influenced the decision. This has nothing to do with my opinion either way on the stadium. This is the reality of Daniel Levy and modern day football.

I regard Southampton as a similar stature club, and imagine someone reinvigorating them and taking them in to the Champions League. I thought there was only us outside the established four who could do it and keep doing it, there should be a statue outside your ground of Levy. When you look at achievements and statures if Blackpool won the FA Cup, Holloway wouldn't have done more for them than Levy has for Tottenham. Erik Thorsvedt. Dr Gloom 22176
I actually agree with Danny there. We beat inter in the champions league a few years back too and look where we are now. If they slip back into mediocrity again without winning a significant title then this period will just be seen as another chapter in a long period of under achievement for spurs. Got to love stevie's wummery.

Dr Gloom 22176
Not many spurs fans that attend the match every week actually even live near the ground so a move out east would make a lot of sense for loads of reasons. The only people who will be happy about it are the nostalgic ones.
