"We had no Andy Carroll, no Shola Ameobi, our two top strikers, and we didn't retain the ball up top at all well. "That was a problem for us. Fingers crossed that at least one of those, if not both of those, are back next week and that we add to the squad too. So going from that and interest in Bentley and Larsson, he's looking at a striker and a right midfielder? Probably the correct two positions to bring in more quality. Going on this I would think were in for seasons of long ball football. How depressing. I was hoping that we'd have seen more of Kadar thus far. Enrique out was a good chance for him to play, so was the FA Cup match. Those couple of looks at Perch should have showed Pardew his value.
