Having an ego isn't dependant on other peoples having big egos, shirley. Came across wrong. I don't think it's unfair for a player like Larsson to want 20k when there's wasters in the side on much more. Asking for 20k as a fairly decent Premier League footballer is basically the average as well so there's no ego involved at all. Like someone said, how many bullets will we dodge until we realise there's no fucker coming in.

Dr Gloom 22193
Disappointing as he'd of provided quality service for the big man. Let's be honest though...he was on 10k and wanted to at least double his wages coming here. We don't want that kinda ego in the dressing room. Clearly didn't want to be part of what we are doin here. Let's just see if they can find someone better. Another unknown African with tilted commitment but with a bit of guile would be nice.
Dr Gloom 22193
Bentley to Birmingham confirmed. Say what you want about him and Larsson but either would have definitely improved our squad. Can only hope we've got other options on the go because we're really short on depth. bentley would have been a quality signing, even on a loan deal

OTF 7579
Would have improved our squad that's for sure. Not being held to ransom on wages is one thing, but if they keep scrimping we'll end up with noone.

Ayatollah Hermione 14094
20k for a player who would improve the squad for a bit is hardly breaking the bank, man. I'd agree it was a foolish deal if he wanted 40-50k a week but we desperately need options off the bench and Larsson would provide it. He'd do a job for us tbh and you're not going to get any better for less than 20k a week.

Yeah, Routledge isn't the right man for a derby match, without a new player down the right our options are extremely limited. I don't like the idea of anyone but Tiote playing alongside Nolan in the middle, so perhaps play Nolan in behind Carroll with Barton and Guthrie in the middle and Routledge on the right and Jonas on the left. Barney 0
I think Routledge has proven himself to be utter shite. Even against Wigan, who were pressing, he'd beat his man with ease and seemed incapable of putting the ball into the box. He was terrible on the weekend and he should only be used as an impact sub if ever.
OTF 7579
... or he should beat his man, and get his head up so that he can make a pass instead of putting in a blind cross. There's plenty of value in being able to beat a man even if you can't cross. Mentally it will make their players back off and will give us more time on the ball. Beat your man and make a short pass. It's defensively that I worry about Routledge, he seems to do quite a bit of running in defense but has no patience, diving in too often and is poor positionally. Larsson from the half that I watched reads the game a hell of a lot better and is good positionally in defense, not overcommitting himself in attack and picking up off the ball runs. Dyer was fucking superb at that. Link up with Nobby, hi the by-line and cut it back for Shearer. Routlegde seems thick as mince out there at times though. Guest alex
Routledge has shown some of last season's form of late. He hasn't exactly won me over but he doesn't look completely out of his depth like he did earlier in the season.
Kid Dynamite 7192
I cant see any other option for us than to play Jonas - - - Barton - - - Nolan - - - Routledge - - - - - - - -Carroll - - - -Ameobi - - - - - - - - Starting with Guthrie, Smith, Best or Lovenkrands is asking for trouble

Smith is garbage and would most likely get sent off and Gutherie is a pathetic excuse for a premiership footballer.
