Tom 14013
They are treating it like a victory. All this ''chasing Europe'' patter like they've already qualified.

Tom 14013
Newcastle boss Alan Pardew: "It was brilliant, passionate - the noise levels were fantastic. We just slipped up at the end but four points from two derbies is good for us. We played really well, had a good gameplan and made it difficult for Sunderland. We looked comfortable and could have got second goal but there were lots of injury time and we just switched off a bit and they got a break - perhaps one they didn't deserve." Dr Kenneth Noisewater 0
The Sunderland fans nearest the away end refuse to leave and bother ensues. Exactly. It's commonplace for away fans to be kept in til the home support has gone. They are the instigators if they've hung back.

Monroe Transfer 0
yea same here they got lucky thats all but we got 4 points from them so thats good enough for me Not sure how that could be good enough for anyone. Pardew is spot on, 5 minutes was too much. Tom said it earlier but this really does feel like a defeat. A win today would have meant 3 in a row - and three clean sheets. 2 massive points dropped. Those 2 points might not cost us towards the end of the season but it's still very disappointing.

OTF 7492
Not dredging back through the thread, but damn were they poor today. We should really have won. That chance that Shola missed early on.. Very disappointing to have conceded like that at the end. It wasn't the fact that we drew, but the way in which we did it. Any Sunderland fan who says anything about is dense and has some nerve. They should thank their lucky stars and say nothing more about it.
