The problem with Michael Owen

I was just thinking earlier about how together the team is since we got relegated and came back up, and even with the shit that went on with the sacking of CH we have still somehow managed to keep the morale high and to keep a togetherness about the team, and i think thats part to do with likes of Nolan & Barton keeping the spirits up, not to mention the support of us.

But what i am getting at is, when you look back to the relegation season with the likes of Owen in the team, you can tell there was no togetherness with the team at all really. Am i right in saying Owen would fly in from Chesire in his helicopter to the training ground and then piss off back to Chesire after training?. Also he never used to take part in squad dinners when they had them aswell, and i heard it was the same with quite a few players from that season, but when you compare now to then, you'll see that our team togetherness is a million times better than it was. Its as if everyone in the team gets along well, unlike the relegation season when there was no togtherness at all, and i think Owen is part to blame for that.

Think he made some half-arsed statement of being disappointed at getting relegated, but was clearly more interested in getting his brochure into publication. Never really wanted to be here from day one, and it showed.
