NobbySol 7
Jonas has played wing back before for mr cocaine. Stating smith was merely an excessive way of saying how shit perch is. Also he wasn't fine in the spurs game, although marking Lennon isn't exactly easy he was still below what would be considered average Actually played full-back in a back 4 in the WC as well, didn't he? Against Nigeria. Also, if Perch isn't playing out of position, since playing out of position doesn't count apparently, why did he try to tackle Lennon with the wrong leg? You're right, if memory serves me right that was his last game at the WC too. Tbh regardless of what position perch has been on, he's been bramble on a bad day every game. Clear mistakes costing goals. At least he scored in the Stoke game....
shackbleep 0
Blues in pole for KeaneStriker could be set for St Andrews Skysports.com understands Birmingham are closing in on the signing of Tottenham striker Robbie Keane. As revealed by skysports.com on Tuesday, Birmingham have opened talks with Tottenham about a deal for the Republic of Ireland international. Discussions are believed to be at an advanced stage between both parties with Birmingham hoping to be able to have the green light to let Keane undergo a medical. Blues boss Alex McLeish has made a new striker his top priority in this month's transfer window and it appears Keane could be on his way to St Andrews. The 30-year-old is keen to leave White Hart Lane after dropping down the pecking order in Harry Redknapp's plans and Spurs are willing to let him move on. A number of other clubs, including Newcastle and Wolves have expressed an interest in Keane, but Birmingham are hoping to win the race for the former Leeds and Liverpool man. http://www.skysports.com/story/0,19528,12040_6636183,00.html
Phil 6
Think we can forget about Xisco, Lovenkrands aint prem class and Best, well certainly doesnt live upto his name. Reckon Ranger needs a chance but we are screaming out for a mobile, nippy striker,LB cover and a winger. Hang on to Carroll, flog Pearch,Gutherie and Smith and that will do me. LB cover and striker are priority For the money we'd get and wages they are on it's not worth selling them. Perch is our only Left back cover. Id honestly rather have jonas or smith at left back. Perch is fucking abysmal He was fine in the Spurs game. Stick to Football Manager for playing midfielders at left back. Jonas has played wing back before for mr cocaine. Stating smith was merely an excessive way of saying how shit perch is. Also he wasn't fine in the spurs game, although marking Lennon isn't exactly easy he was still below what would be considered average Jonas played wank as right back for Argentina and was dropped, so you want to play him left back. Makes sense Who would you play left wing if Jonas is left-back, Harper?
Phil 6
phil, are you defending perch? he really isn't very good you know. I'm not defending his ability, I'm just saying people who want him sold are mad. He's a squad player who is paid peanuts AND he's our only cover for left back. Only short sighted people would think of selling a utility squad player when we have such a small squad.

Phil 6
Perch is seriously wank as cover for right back and you want him for cover as left back? I think you've missed my point. Like it or not Perch is our second best left back. So selling him means your swapping poor cover for no cover.

I can understand your point but I personally think Jonas or ferguson could do a better job. Perch has been detrimental to the side when playing and if a bid came in for the same amount we paid (I doubt a bid of any amount will come in anyway) I'd have him out in a heartbeat. He's an awful defender at this level
