He's out on the drink the night before a premierleague game and you reckon he's in with a shout?

good one.

He was a sub v Bolton so obviously Pardew fancys him.

With regard to being out on the drink, silly lad IF true.

Maybe it's all to do with the Steak and Ale diet Pardews got him on ;-)

I doubt he would be in Ireland if he was playing anyway, I know it's not that far but still.

Not that I believe Kevin for a second. He is exactly the type to get a photo and have it as a facebook profile pic before he has even got home.

This current (I assume?) trend amongst fans that if a youngster plays a couple of games and then doesn't for a while (their presence usually dictated by lack of options or fitness with established first teamers), it must mean he's getting sold is odd. You're supposed to bleed youngsters in. If he's not needed on the bench tonight, then you might as well let him go back and see his family and mates for New Year. I'd be on the lash as well.

Lets drop an Argentinian International for a light-weight unproven winger.

Only in CTs world.

But when that day comes and Shane wows the world........... oh how I'll come looking for you. ;-)

And when Ferguson ends up playing for Glentoran nothing will happen as we'll have all forgotten about him.

A recent example would be Vuckic in centre midfield.

We may as well have been playing 4-3-1-2 for all of his defensive efforts, although he was class going forwards and decent in the air.

It needs to be worked on & a player seldom does everything right first time.

  • 4 weeks later...

Was it Tal Ben Haim whom he took exception to in the West Ham home game?

It's just as well that didn't go any further or we could have been one promising youngster down!

Just watched it CT. He's got a very thick Northern Irish accent.

Duncan French the fitness coach says that he's on a specific individual program to bulk him up - "to develop a body that can compete in the Premier League".

At the moment he looks like someone's kid brother, which is partly why he doesn't get many games. Pardew's orders. Too scrawny.
