Is there any evidence that Shane can consistently produce the goods? Or is it because he's not Jonas?

Unfortunately that only happens when you get a good run to prove yourself and a manager who plays to your strengths. We all know Pardew is a more defend, safety first type manager.

Bottom line for me is that when you have a team that struggles to create chances, it is very worthwhile having someone on the bench who can.

Someone like Keegan would have had Ferguson constantly attacking down the wing or whipping crosses in.

If he has any sense he'll move on.

We've been saying that as well about you for years, CT.

He did go out on loan for a while, but there's no evidence it's helped him mature as a poster.

Seems the reason he's been sent out on loan is called ''Paul Dummett'. Looks much more promising.

How long before CT fizzes at the slit for poor old Paul?

He quickly moved on from whomever he adored before Shane

Agreed, Dummett looks a very talented lad.

sour grapes over shane or just idiocy?

yes it's surprising how any of us could've seen someone who played 40 games in the SPL last season and won a trophey with his loan team.

You appear to be talking about Watching Other Football. There be monsters.
