Anyone see the classless twats on Barrack Road "putting it up to" blokes with kids and some teenage girls?...a little mob of our lot appeared, swung a punch or two then ran off...different in my day Ill tell ya...

Never seen that, thought they were quite muted for they're standards.

They came out singing "Newcastle's a shithole, I wanna go home"...which is would be funny if the chavvy twats could understand irony. All from behind a line of police horses underneath the Leazes

It sort of spilled out into the road, took ages to get by. Think they said on the radio that the coaches didnt leave till gone 6, which suggests it might have gone on a bit after I got past them.

Where were you young man when the good name of your home town was being besmirched?....in the fuckin Percy by any chance?

See the likes of manc mag good lad and all that. "Citeh are good lads" Bigger bunch of mugs than any dipper I've ever known. "I wanna go home, I wanna go home, Newcastle's a shithole I wanna go home.." We've all been to Manchester, biggest parafins I've ever seen in my life. Pleased they got battered outside Tilleys, mugs.

I didn't see the game, so my opinion counts for fuck all(and I'm locked). However, as good as Kruls catching may be(better than Harpers, but be misses a few), I'd say the fans and (especially)the back 4 would rather have Harper back there.

I think if you asked most players they'd rather a keeper who was 6/10 every week ahead of a keeper who was 10/10 one week and dropped a bollock the next.

It'll be interesting to see how Pardsy deals with this. Does he drop Krul and ruin his momentum(or does he persist with him and potentially drop points). It could finish Krul off to drop him after 1 game that cost points, but IMO he's been on that route for a While.

Moss Side fuckers need to have a word with themselves, fucking vermin.

Agree with Barney re: Krul.

In all honesty i reckon Pards HAS to keep krul in between the sticks.

If he dropped him now I reckon it would do more damage than good, from Kruls perspective he'd have fucked off the new manager and lost his place, game over.

In my honest opinion Pards needs to show krul that he has faith in him and still starts him via spurs.

We have the cup match on the 8th to bring Harper back into the '1st team fray' so to speak - and even if Krul has a blinder against Spuds, Harper playing in the cup match will at least allow pardew to make a decision based on a little more info as to form between the two (even if it is just a formality to not upset Krul too much)

Personally Kruls catching seems a bit more solid in my eyes, and his reflexes maybe catching up there, however he flaps far too much and seems to share Harpers fear of leaving his goal line for anything other than a clear ball. Out the two of them i personally couldn't pick.

Did anyone else see Harper reassuring and shaking kruls hand moments before they came out for the 2nd half, even thought hey are competing for the jersey, was nice to see Steve encouraging the lad, he was clearly gutted at being 2-0 down after 5 mins.

Fuck that. I wouldn't mind Everton winning a trophy before them, but I'd be happy if the red dippers never win fuck all again.

Might have a bit more time for them if they played a bit more football but they're ultra-negative. Not just yesterday either. Thought their fans were poor as well.

Havent read the thread as been on the piss and cant be arsed.

Its very hard to try and recover from a 2 goal deficit within 5 minutes.

Just a tad dissappointed that we didnt start with the team that has done so well recently with Barton in for Routledge and two strikers up front. Yes we went back to that line up after 59 mins but why Pardew felt the need to change it Im not sure.

Ended up in row aa in the Sir John hall stand, about 15 feet behind the goal. Forgotten whats it like to be so close to the action and see the players close up. What a tiny fucker Tevez is. The abuse Hart got was first class.

You're right like, you've got little or no chance giving worse teams than Man City a two-goal start. I thought Routledge was decent fwiw and quite liked the shape of the team. Nolan was playing too far forward though I thought.

We desperately lack another striker like, pointless Carroll winning everything if no fucker is feeding off it.

The slating Krul's had in this thread you wouldn't have thought Carroll wasn't getting any balls delivered to him in the first place. Grossly unfair imo. Think he's done well generally, no wonder his clanger in the first minute knocked him a bit, he's a young lad, a dropping won't do him any good either.

No it wouldn't but at least the new manager, love him or hate him, has said players are in due to merit and Krul earned his spot. He could have been hooked after that but wasn't yesterday. Harper's recall will be justified now.

Krul's been living dangerously for a while and thats been coming for a while, do you go for the short term and drop him or persevere with the long term in mind as we might have a very good keeper in the future?

We were ok for the most part but what a shit start that ruined yesterday, crowd stuck by the side though whilst the City lot were really piss poor, where was the Manc swagger and piss taking? They were shit and need a few tips from their mates from Salford on how to rub it in when you're two up with only five minutes gone. It would've been justice if we'd got an equaliser but shit happens, take it on the chin and move on. Rumours the ref drove up to the game with a sky blue scarf hanging out his window with 'Blue moon' blaring out his stereo have yet to be confirmed.

After one mistake? Bit harsh iyam; he's hardly world class but he's dependable at a young age and it's one clanger. He went on to have a canny game, despite not having to save much and I don't think it's fair or justified to drop a young keeper for making one mistake.

As HmHm has said, he's been teetering on the edge for a while. Yesterday's cost us the goal that killed the game as a contest. Harper is back now, and he doesn't take those kinds of options like Krul has, as I said it's not the first time he's done it. It's all experience, but we're trying to avoid relegation here this season. Krul needs to go back and learn from his mistakes and be ready again for a call-up and cut out those high-risk plays from his game, imo.

Keepers are funny, Fergie ruined Jim Leighton by dropping him for the cup final and Krul might be ok about getting dropped but I'd be inclined to keep him in, if he does something dodgy in the next game, get Harper back in.

Thought Krul had been doing well. Got us the 3 points against Arsenal. Lots of saves against chelsea...did well against Liverpool too.

Can't see how you can say on the one hand he's kept his place on form, then say on the other hand he's been on the edge for a while, poor enough to be dropped.

He's done well in the time Harper's been out, you could even say he's not looked out of place in the PL, hence why he's deserved to keep his place in the side. His shot stopping and reflexes are top notch, but his decision making is not up to scratch. Well, at least that's what I'm getting at. Harper would at least hoof those 50/50 balls where as Krul, atm tries to play it too cute. It bit him in the arse yesterday and could have in other matches as well.

Thought we played well for the most part yesterday and a lot of times looked better going forward than they did. Unfortunately you pay for mistakes at this level and we made ones that they didn't.

Thought Tiote was class again and looked ten times the player Toure did. We should be building a team around him, Colo, Enrique, Barton and Caroll but we all know while the fat cunt owns us there's no chance of this!

Btw how fucking deflected goals are going to do us at the Leazes end this season! That's one in each of the last three games!

You think you have problems??...........................

Haven't seen any of the game, but it sounds like you gave it a good go against a very good squad, with the Tevez Trump Card. Good to see Carroll keeping his form going to. Don't know why, but I'm starting to like him.

Thought Newcastle were excellent yesterday like, we deserved to win imo. Routledge was tremendous definitely his best game in the Premiership, he got down the line and wasn't frightened of Kolarov who's a good player. I missed the first 2 goals was just buying me £1.70 bottle of water as Tevez made it 0-2. I think obviously we played well but see even the best teams (and they're not one of those), they go 1-0 and 2-0 up away from home, and they just sit in and say well howay then lets see what you can do. So the amount of possession we had is partly attributable to that.

Thought Nolan was poor yesterday, looked like he'd had a good christmas, and once again Jonas was fuckin wank. I hate slagging our players but there's nee end product from him, and when he does get the ball in it's a hit and hope in to the box. Barton had a decent game, but for me I thought Andy Carroll was absolutely immense, he's getting better and better, if he keeps this up, in a year or two he'll be the first name down on the team sheet for England. He bullied their centre halfs, held it up magnificently and won nearly everything in the air. What a player he's going to be and I never thought I'd say that 18 month ago. Anyway 1-3, it was never a 1-3, we played well and we're a canny side at times. The ref was all them though "Chris Foy" every 50/50 went their way.

A word about Man City's shit support. What a bunch of mouthy cunts, and the kid that got knocked sparko on Pink Lane deserved it and I don't condone football violence but singing "Newcastle's a shithole" after we've lost 3-1 at home the kid has a death wish. Another thing about them as well, what a bunch of scruffy tramps, ugly, fat bastards who clearly dress their kids in Matalan, Paul Calf truly is the classic Citeh fan. Man Utd fans have more class, it's like the difference between geordies and mackems. Still laughing at Newcastle's a shithole, Manchester is a grotty industrial wankhole, you can see their buildings are stained in the industrial revolution, the most classic building in Manchester is their "town hall", and it's fuckin wank, Wallsend town hall has more appeal. Where's your Grey Street, where's your Grainger Town you fuckin total manc cunts? Tramps. I hope these Arabs fuck them off, they have a team worth £400m and still can't sell out, absolutely mickey mouse club, we'll ALWAYS be better supported and a bigger club than them scruffs.

See I don't think they were as mouthy as they normallly are, Mancs, red or blue have some kind of inbuilt bullshit swagger for some very strange reason. Very up themselves. I almost think some of the City lot are a bit embarressed how they've become the new Chelsea. They were knobs, though, just not as much as they have been in the past, plus the fact that we didn't get 17,000 crowds when we went down would've genuinely surprised some of their more braindead fans, and the 'Where were you?" didn't get the normal airing it used to get. Prefer scousers to be honest.

I wouldn't gan that far. I've never seen a bigger amount of collective tramps as their support yesterday though. I remember when Barton first came he said Mancs are all about image and what they wear and how they look, whereas scousers and geordies are more earthy pisshead types. Well he's wrong, you don't see many scruffy toon fans, we're well dressed and presentable on the whole, them though yesterday like I say, was like 2,800 Paul Calfs. It's no wonder Manchester people are Britain's fattest and most susceptible to heart attacks.

I don't think Man City have ever been that mouthy, last time they came here there was only 1,000 of them, that's all they ever used to bring give or take 500 other than that neet Cup game when Keegan came back.
