Jimbo 175
Suazo was linked to a move to Houston Dynamo last week, can't see it personally.
Dolly Potter MD 0
I've always rated Eboue. As an overlapping fullback [who can hit the bylines & cut it back low into the heart of the box] he'd compliment Barton's guile & playmaking qualities. David Kelly 1260
Why are people wanting right sided players to replace Jonas? Surely a left winger would make more sense?
Papa Lazaru 0
Why are people wanting right sided players to replace Jonas? Surely a left winger would make more sense? I think at the minute people just want him replaced and fast! I don't know what's happened to Jonas, he's always had at best inconsistent delivery and lacked enough end product, but he always played with energy and dynamism and would run at defenders drawing a fair few onto him and winning freekicks, whilst getting up and down the pitch to help out. But now he's playing likes he's completely lost, and has little of that energy and his previous link up with Enrique is fading fast as i suspect Jose is becoming less and less confident in him. Guest alex
He probably needs a rest tbh but we haven't got the personnel to give him a couple of games out the side.
Papa Lazaru 0
He probably needs a rest tbh but we haven't got the personnel to give him a couple of games out the side. With him struggling so much, i'd say give him the rest, play a kid there or somebody out of position (as much as i hate doing that) as long as they are made to stay out wide and not drift inside. Because he doesn't look right at all at the moment.
Barney 0
That's the problem with the squad we have. Most of the team are guaranteed a start every game, regardless of form/attitude. Hopefully Gosling and BenArfa will put pressure on some to up their game. Im glad we have 4 decent centre halves everyone has to be on their toes. tinofbeans 91
Taiwo unrealistic/shit? Maybe unrealistic to sit on the bench. What about Ziegler? We could do with cover down the left side. too slow, never good enough in the premier league. rakitic is a good good player. srna is more of a wing back. some good players there nonetheless. Happy Face 29
“Dan Gosling’s back in training, but not impact (training), as we’ve been inside,” Pardew said. “He’s a good three or four weeks away yet. He’s not far away, but the cold weather’s affected it slightly.”
