I find FCUM's posts as interesting as any, but sadly he posts once in a blue moon.

Yeah, I'm sure there's loads I haven't mentioned as they don't post much etc. Speaking of other fans I like Billy Castell anarl. Also like some of the lads who went to games back in the day and the stories they tell. Spongebob, NJS and Leazes of course. I think we're canny lucky on here as, although we could do with a few more posters, most people on here talk a bit of sense. Even the young kids.

I obviously get my wisdom from you old bastards

In all honesty I don't put a lot of opinions forward on the Football forum, most of it is just banter. So I'm not sure I should be in here at all

fwiw, certain posters add a great deal to certain arguments. I think Matt and Chez provide a great deal of insight into the financial rumblings, but tend to steer clear of in-game analysis and the like.

Glad Chez has come through with a decent tally, often puts a lot of effort and thought into his football postings.

Chez is an asset to this board. He's like the Glenn Hoddle of the board when he used to play for England. Cultured but never forgot his roots, knowledgable, unwaving in his views, and he never had his best years till he fucked off to France too.

Great poster, he's one poster where I never skim through his posts like many of us do with some. He has something to say and he explains his points with a genuinely articulate manner that belie the fact he's from Gateshead.

Have been known to drink in the Berkeley. Is it still open? Mainly frequented The Horse, Monkey Arms, Foxhunters, The Beacon, Hunting Lodge and The Briardene as had quite a few mates lived in Whitley Lodge.

Glenn Hoddle? I guess that makes Parky the Eileen Drewery of the board. :icon_lol:

I don't know if it's still open but it was a canny bar, one of me best mates uncles ran the side, played for them 94 to 96 was just a bairn in the Port of Blyth league. Narf toughened me up in a football sense playing against big nasties from Ashington and Blyth like not to mention North Shields. We had this kid playing for us Red Rum we called him, he had a bigger cock than any pornstar you've ever seen and he never missed an opportunity to get it out. You'll probably know some of the lads who played for us. Our left back who was about 23 at the time shagged an MP's wife was on the front page of the Chronicle and she was about 50, some mad old times there like.
