JawD 99
Barton, Carroll, Nolan or Tiote? I think Tiote has made the biggest impact for that position since last season. While its also been encouraging to see Carroll continue his form from last season despite the increase in quality he is up against.
Christmas Tree 4920
Barton, Carroll, Nolan or Tiote? Said in September Barton would be player of the season and still agree, although its hard to discount Tiote who just looks world class at the minute. Carrol will also be in with a shout but for me its the midfield that makes or breaks us this season so Barton just ahead of Tiote. Must say its a lovely position to be in having real choices to make. Besty 4
Have to say Tiote, just look at the Bolton game for why.
Kid Dynamite 7312
Without Carrolls goals and defending at corners we would be in a far worse position than we are
loonyTOON 10
Without Carrolls goals and defending at corners we would be in a far worse position than we are I agree, but who sets him up? Mr. Barton. So its fair to say, no Barton, no Carroll goals. (except the stunner against Liverpool).
Deano 0
Could easily be any from carroll, tiote and barton. Id say carroll though purely on his goals and ability to step up from the cc.
The Fish 11075
Not only do I think they've been playing well, but I actually have affection for the players. They seem to have affection for the club too, and so I like them all (bar Campbell) and it's been a while since I could say that
AgentAxeman 199
Voted Barton. I think he's been excellent so far this season. Carroll, Nolan, Ricky, Colo and Tiote have all been superb as well.
Christmas Tree 4920
Voted Barton. I think he's been excellent so far this season. Carroll, Nolan, Ricky, Colo and Tiote have all been superb as well. Enrique will improve a whole new level as soon as we get rid of the clown Jonas. Currently he cant race ahead because Jonas usually loses the ball Defending is harder because he knows Jonas is too scared to tackle.
Guest You FCB Get Out Of Our Club
Barton has been the most consistent and his attitude other than Blackburn has been spot on. I'm eating humble pie at the minute, this is the player we bought.
Papa Lazaru 0
Barton, Carroll and Titote would all be a deserving call for player of the season so far and its great that we have the choice, with Enrique in the mix as well. Think i'd probably go Barton by a tiny fraction, because he offers plenty going forwad and plays good football, but has the energy and effort required to get the ball back and his set pieces have been spot on alot of the time. Gejon 2
Hard choice, I have gone with Carroll though. He is everywhere and his goal to game ratio since January has been immense.
peasepud 59
Hold on, Ive just managed to vote for all 4 Barton for me though, without his overall influence I think we'd be worse off.

Christmas Tree 4920
Just watched motd and saw Barton chase back, sliding tackle and come away with ball. Must have missed it yesterday. Love stuff like that.

Bonamental 0
Went with Barton. Hard choice between the 4 (plus Ricky), but I think the games he's been suspended showed just how much we need him to play well. Partly the influence of Nolan and his goals of course, but Barton's work rate seems infectious and there is no one else in the squad with his quality from midfield, as we have seen in the last few games so blatantly. Kid Dynamite 7312
One rather disturbing statistic is that Tiote has picked up 8 yellows in his last 9 games for us

Mr. Barton. So its fair to say, no Barton, no Carroll goals. (except the stunner against Liverpool). Carroll has 10 goals, Barton has 4 assists. Something doesn't add up there. While we're on the subject of assists, Carroll has 6, which means he's scored or been directly involved in 16 of our 27 Premier League goals. Pretty fucking impressive. Bonamental 0
And pretty fucking scary if he gets injured/sold/locked up.
smoggeordie 0
Tiote. We saw at Bolton what happens when he's not in the team.
