The pitch is fine, it's been called off on the grounds of health and safety and rightly so. If they allowed it to go ahead and someone was involved in a serious accident either on the way there or around the ground there'd be hell on and the HSE would have a fucking field day. Comparisons can't really be made with our match against Chelsea a couple of weeks back either. Pretty dangerous for driving and anyone not taking sufficient care. Could this work in our favour? Play them again when Ben Arfa, et al are back, maybe even when we've picked up a player or two in the window? Not saying it definitely will be, just got fuck all else to do, so lets have a chat eh? I'm struggling to stay rational, but I've been pleased with our performances against teams who come trying to play football. The potentially good thing to come from that is there seems to be a swing back to "footballing" sides, from the grind out a 1-0 drudgery we've endured recently. Birmingham are actually set up similar to us, built on a solid defensive unit, but with a couple of players whom you can count on to change the game, either with their invention or their reliability. If it only started falling this morning then it hits quite hard, up here basically came to a standstill tbf. Oh and deadman, no it won't be rearranged for next weekend. It's fuckin' xmas day.
