At best, a draw.

Does anyone know where we were points-wise at this point in our relegation season?

Relegation Season: 17 played, 4 wins, 7 draws, 6 losses, 19 points, in 14th

This Season:17 played, 6 wins, 4 draws, 7 losses, 22 points, in 8th

If we only had 19 points this season, we'd be in 15th.

That said, after the 17th game, which was a win over Portsmouth, we only got 3 wins the entire rest of the season.

They're a half decent side but offer very little up front, tbf. Saylor should hopefully keep tight to "Sewper Kev". They're more dangerous on the break and even at home seem happy to sit back and hit teams on the counter.

2-1 to us. Barton and Ranger to score.

Hopefully Pardew (spits) will have Shola sussed out this week and play Nile ahead of him.

not much pace down the flanks, but larrsson's deliverys are pretty good. their forwards are mobile ( but not quick) and strong. if we can sneak a goal early doors then counter i'd take a 1-0 win.

Cameron Jerome's pretty quick.

1-2 :icon_lol:

Birmingham didnt manage a shot on target against Wolves and only 3 off which included Phillips' dreadful header. Thats the second time thats happened to them this season too apparently. They are extremely well drilled and have a few good players but are a bit over rated imo. I think we can get a draw out of this one. Would be more than happy with that anyway.

Williamson & Coloccini back from suspension. Chuck the fact that they can't score for toffee at home into the mix and you've got to think we need to be coming away with at least a point.

Knowing NUFC though we'll implode on the back of last week's result.

Wonder if they'll both go straight back in.

No clean sheet since they were banned.....but only one each conceded to Chelsea and liverpool isn't bad compared to 5 at Bolton. Four points from those games makes up for the WBA horror show.

Indeed. We need to get something this weekend as the matches Man City and Spurs within 3 days is going to be a tall order. Knowing us though we'll lose on Saturday and draw those two.

QFT. Got to go there believing we can take points out of this one and theres no reason why we shouldn't unless we decide to create reasons of our own.

Lets get the away record back up and running again

Pardews team tomorrow will be interesting and tell us a lot about how everyones feeling at st james.

Will he start with two strikers?

Will the second striker be Ranger?

Campbell looks as though he's injured but will Taylor keep his place?

Surely he cant drop Krul?

He'll probably give Jonas one more chance.

Really excited for this game and will be gutted if we go 1 up or if we dont get all 3 points.

Cmon
