LeazesMag 0
download nero to burn them to dvd's. just copy and paste on to a hard drive. You need leads etc to connect the video to the PC ? I used a programme called soundforge to digitise my old Audio collection, now I want to do the same with some old TV progs inc a lot of old NUFC clips, ie keep them on an external hard disk. Kid Dynamite 7317
Buy a VHS to DVD recorder http://www.play.com/Electronics/Electronic...35|prd:16711235
Meenzer 15870
Yeah, it might be easier to do it that way round, get a VHS/DVD recorder combo (with a hard drive too if you want more editing flexibility etc.) and burn your videos to DVD as your primary "archive". Then you can get software and rip those DVDs as video files using your computer then store them on an external hard drive as a kind of backup. Happy Face 29
The Archos 605 was mint for this. Could plug a VCR or a camcorder with them little mini tapes or owt into it and record straight to .mpg. Shame it was crap for anything else
LeazesMag 0
what about storing a DVD onto a hard disk ? If you store the audio_ts and video_ts folders, how would you re-burn the films to a blank DVD ?
