Tens of thousands of pounds a week and he's having a pop at the people paying him and devalueing himself at the same time. Â He's spot on, not for him or Simpson the tosser to say though. We have to do something about it. Liverpool had such issues, they were only saved because of their global appeal, we don't have that. I worry every day about the state of our club. I was a little confused as to whether you were saying Barton/Enrique was the bell end. Â Deadman, the majority of other clubs would give Enrique a pay rise in these circumstances. Lazarus 0 Posted July 24, 2011 Share Posted July 24, 2011 yea but we cant give enrique a pay rise we have ashley in charge who wont give any player a wage thats over 60k  whilst i dont agree with many of the things that the current owners are doing and have done in the past i think 60k is reasonable amount for a club in our position (without european football)  the whole thing is complicated by colo's alleged 85k per week  if we paid all our star players the same wage then where would we be ? All anyone has ever said was that it was a 'fantastic' offer? Is he saying that is a lie or that someone has it was an improved offer? Good for him but taking it any further could get messy.
