aimaad22 4156
Hope the banners, along with the Cardiff match treatment, are out since the first minute against Hull. Sad state of affairs but it has come down to this now I think.
David Kelly 1245
It's totally ludicrous that it has come to this. It wouldn't happen anywhere else because he would have been sacked ages ago. And I'm not talking about at the bigger clubs looking to win trophy's, there surely isn't a club anywhere else in the country who would put up with the incompetance he's shown not to mention head butting an opposition player. There can't be another club in the world who have an owner who thinks this little about what's going on with the football at the club he owns. Andrew 4756
really though, what other club in the PL wouldn't have sacked him after the headbutt?

David Kelly 1245
Didn't even need an excuse but it was certainly a way to get rid of him without having to pay off his contract.

aimaad22 4156
So Souness has sympathy for Pardew. Apparently we're "quick to show our frustration". I hope he realises his sympathy was one of the few things remaining that would make us hate Pardew's boot licking guts more than we already do. PaddockLad 17274
2 things Carragher gets right, the players don't give a fuck, bit that comes from the very top rather than just Pardew on his own and now seems endemic at the club, and did we recruit in line with a club of our size with our fanbase?...hah... Christmas Tree 4725
No evidence whatsoever of him having lost the dressing room. We simply have a very very Shit team who are playing at that level. Shit defenders, Shit strikers, with bizarre players like Gouffran, Anita and sisokko etc sprinkled in. Sure let's upgrade Pardew but Sir Alex coulndt turn this sorry lot around. Avoiding relegation mainly relies on a big spend in January.

But if you can't get your players motivated for as long a period as he has then he has to go, that's the most obvious thing in this situation. You do have to wonder whether it will be in the players' heads to essentially throw the game on Saturday.

Thats Carraghers point...its nothing to do with them being shit, most of them are full internationals

Weren't you very recently proclaiming the quality of the squad and how we had nothing to worry about. Not to mention advocating the sacking of the manager when things were looking a lot rosier than they are presently. Do you realise how stupid you look constantly changing your views? You can accuse people of being a sheep, but at least they have some conviction and consistency in their opinions.

Pardew has admitted this. Half a dozen new faces have failed to produce any difference. If Ashley doesn't sack him in the next 10 days it'll cost him a lot more come January. I did ask for him to be sacked when it was obvious how bad he was AND while we still had a decent team for a new manager to work with. I still want a better manager. That view hasn't changed. But no new manager is going to make a great deal of difference and to keep saying "they're all internationals" is to kid yourself with false hope. Thats it really, we know Ashley isn't a football man but he knows his money, he must recognise that letting this go on is just going to cost him more and more, either by us going down or the team needing a massive bailout in January. Unless Pardew really has got him bamboozled with all his talk of science and headbutting.

It's ridiculous to take the position that nobody could do better with these players than a manager who you admit yourself is poor and needs replacing. These are professional footballers who would obviously improve as a unit if exposed to better coaching, tactics, organisation and motivation. You're talking as if we've assembled a team of fat blokes from down the pub who can't help but ship 4 goals every week. You're either being contrary or you're stupid. It's difficult to tell which at times.
