Alex 34765
There's a narrative in the media whereby all Newcastle fans are never happy, unrealistic and demand success all the time. It's not representative of the truth but it's handy for lazy journalists and their thick as fuck audience to be able to buy into it. Pardew seems more than happy to repeat the lie (in as many words) to try and take pressure off himself. Edited September 12, 2014 by Alex
ewerk 30216
Souness and Allardyce both trotted out the same shite after they left. It's the easiest lie to tell.

I think I've possibly just filtered out all of the journalists/publications that follow that shit but it doesn't seem to be the case anymore, I haven't, for quite a while, seen anyone saying we're being unreasonable with our dislike of Pardew.  You can understand them coming from Elliot to an extent though, he owes just about everything he has to him.
