Happy Face 29
Ashley didn't look that happy after the final whistle like. Considering it was £50m secured.

hostile_statue 0
The last game could still matter. We'll lose, but if we do it with our heads hold high, fine. Another 0-6 however...

Monroe Transfer 0
Pardew's comments to the press during the week make it clear he knows his job is under threat. I think he'll go - but his (fair) excuses will make it a difficult decision. I want him out hence my sig but I don't hate the guy like some do. Prefer him to the likes of Souness who I couldn't stand.
Monroe Transfer 0
I hope Everton promote Phil Neville to manager so we don't have to compete with them for a new manager.

Tooj 17
They did yet at the end of that window Pardew said that we could qualify for the Champions League with the squad that we had. He was also backed in January and things reverted back to type after the initial boost. He's a below average manager that should not be in charge of our club. Last year was obviously a massive fluke and this year things have went to how things have during his managerial period. Has a good start then things slide and he has no idea what to do to combat this. Last summer's transfer window was shocking, but that's not an excuse for Pardew's disgusting negative tactics all season.
Aeris 0
Congratulations Alan Pardew. Survival and employment secured with a game to go. Congratulations? Congratulations for almost getting us relegated with a squad like that... Edited May 12, 2013 by Aeris
Tom 14013
He says what he's told to say man. Totally criminal we didn't get a striker in that window and I'm fairly confident had he been properly backed in the summer window we wouldn't be having this conversation. I'd say he's average and his tactics were the same last season but the results weren't. Of course if he's lost the players & we can improve on him get rid but I can see him still being here in August and I'm preprared to write the season off & support him if he is. In addition I have no faith in the ''board'' to replace him properly. It'll be Curbishley or someone.
Rayvin 5323
It'll be Curbishley or someone. This is my big fear - Some people seem to think our board are savvy enough to bring in someone like Deschamps and I just don't see it...
Holden McGroin 6787
Who knows what Mike Ashley thinks but I suspect he'll give him a crack at next season. Personally I'd try and get Michael Luadrup someone of that ilk. We should be playing better football with the players we have. REALLY hoping Colo stays but doesnt look likely. Last season was based on solidity at the back and we've conceded the joint amount of goals in the league. Likewise when we played the similar formation today to what we did last season Cisse was actually getting goal scoring chances. He had no service whatsoever again today. Tom 14013
The stability came from having a consistent first 11 - which we haven't had at any stage in this season. We've had plenty of chances recently whether they fall to Cisse or somebody else is irrelevant.
Tooj 17
Just to debunk the Moyes "myth" that people seem to keep on referring to as a reason to keep Pardew. Here's a screenshot of his average starting XI in that season Everton finished 17th or whatever it was. Not taking into account the fact that Moyes was a lot younger than Pardew is now and also never had a previous track record of not being able to turn things around when they go wrong like Pardew has. We've had plenty of chances recently whether they fall to Cisse or somebody else is irrelevant. Yet your team should still have a philosophy setup so whoever comes into the team doesn't really have to adapt, all of the best managers know you have to do this. Look at Swansea the other night for example. We haven't had plenty of chances at all man. What did we have today? Last week at West Ham?

Tooj 17
There's generally no point of us trying to qualify for Europe again if it means this is as good as it is going to get under Pardew when we do. Plus we'll get to hear him moan all of the way through the competition about what a hindrance it has been on him. Instead of being proud that we are in there.
