Happy Face 29
One of the most gifted players in Europe kept out of the side by big shit black men. Well that's the essence of the PL isn't it? Many gifts are squandered to those who apply themselves.

Monroe Transfer 0
Fucking typical!!! 1 bad game (because of injuries) and everyone heads for their pitchforks. 30 odd games Pardew has had at Newcastle and before today only lost 8. You tell me the last manager that had us playing football like we have this season. Get to fuck! Someone with the power pls close this post. Waste of time Totally agree. One bad game and everyone thinks they are an expert who can do a better job. Nearly as bad as the "Ben Arfa should hand in a transfer request thread" Jesus Christ we lost a game get over it, Pardew's record since he has been here has been second to none with what he has at his disposal. You've not been on here very long have you?
Monroe Transfer 0
Ben arfa has to justify a start ahead of ameobi/best. That's his way in. What two of the worst players in the PL? This is the sort of mediocrity MA has got idiots buying into. You should start making it more obvious when you're on the wind up and when you're being serious. It's hard to tell the difference sometimes.
Ayatollah Hermione 14074
Is it Pardew's fault we didn't invest in the squad properly? No. Is it Pardew's fault Colo and Taylor both got injured in the same game? No. Is it Pardew's fault Tiote has missed games? Don't think so. It is Pardew's fault that we keep playing Ryan Taylor who is clearly out of his depth. It is Pardew's fault Perch has played so often as a sub (for Cabaye?!). It is Pardew's fault we left the weakest link all season unprotected when Jonas was suspended. It is Pardew's fault we keep ignoring players who deserve a chance and whose natural positions are the one's we are struggling with (Santon, Kadar, Ben Arfa, Marveux(when he was not injured)). It is Pardew's fault we have no plan B. It is Pardew's fault we played a full back at cb today, instead of 6'2'' Santon who has played there for Inter, when we knew Norwich's strikers would be big and bustling and they would put the ball in at every opportunity. Some blame must also lie with Pardew regarding Obertan's utter lack of ability to use his pace and go outside - if he can't do it, don't keep playing him. You're an idiot. Look at the league position and be quiet. He played a full back at CB because we have no fit centre backs.

Kevin S. Assilleekunt 1
Seems mad to me the 2 players people are raging about (Obertan and Raylor) are the two that we have no alternative for. If you're gonna play Barfa on a wing it has to be the left, which means guti going on the right. Again, people are suggesting overhauling the entire team. He ain't gonna do it....and rightly so. Get your facts right, HBA has played on the right wing before during his career--FACT.

Happy Face 29
It'd be hilarious to see it tried to be honest. If you thought obertan did no tracking back....Ben arfa would be a rude awakening ...and on his worst side.

aimaad22 4222
I dont get the logic of justifying Obertan's inclusion because as a whole we've done well overall this season. That does not mean that a couple of players have not been utter shite. It means others have been making up for it, for instance the Jonas Raylor situation. Suppose we stick with Obertan, get our defensive act together and start winning games again, but that still wont change the fact we're using a player who cant do crap. If we've been doing well before, and do so again, its been and will be despite of him rather than because of him. Why not give someone else a chance, even if its not their best position. Suppose HBA or Sammy come in and do absolutely nothing the whole game, we still wont be any worse off then when playing Obertan.

If you thought obertan did no tracking back....Ben arfa would be a rude awakening ...and on his worst side. You are using a child's logic there rather than evaluating the situation properly: "Ben Arfa is left-footed, therefore he can't play on the right." Why don't we take a look at the FACTS? Stating it's his 'worst' side clearly demonstrates that you have probably never seen HBA play prior to his signing for NUFC, and that, along with the fact that you are a poor judge of player, and also the fact that you are a tendentious character who takes great pleasure in going against what you perceive as popular opinion, is what is leading you to be so critical of Ben Arfa. He frequently played on the right with great success earlier in his career, at international level too. It was usually on the right of a front-three so he was not expected to track back as much. HBA actually showed more tenacity and effort in his closing down vs Manure than Obertan has shown in his entire career. Edited December 11, 2011 by Kevin S.
