@yourservice 67
It amazes me how the players are getting off the hook after that yesterday this season. Edited April 28, 2013 by @yourservice
aimaad22 4156
It seems clear he has lost the dressing room. My worry is, even if we somehow survive, what can we look forward to next season with him in charge? The players just dont seem to want to play under him. Cant say I really blame them, must be painful trying to play the way he gets us to play. Still pretty pissed at the lack of backbone shown by the players last evening though. Show some spirit and fight for the club and the fans at least even if you dont like the manager. Gutless bastards.
Christmas Tree 4725
Thing is we have all worked for shite managers who absolutely make going to work a torrid time. Im sure its no different here. Shouldnt excuse shit performances but may point to why its now rapidly heading dowhill.
Christmas Tree 4725
I also reference the relegation clause point. After last time Im pretty sure most will have one and it wouldnt surprise me too much if a disgruntled player decided to take his foot off the pedal as a way to getting a dream move and a big pay day. Christmas Tree 4725
So our players are intentionally trying to get us relegated? No, Im not saying they are. Im saying that a relegation clause is / could be a very potent tool to use for a player / group of players who want away. Foot off the pedal, team gets relegated and the cream walk into a new club with a massive signing on fee. Look at someone like Cabaye. Denied a dream move to Arsenal last year, told he's going nowhere unless the club get £25 million, playing a shit role in a shit team for a shit manager and faced with the prospect of doing it all again next season. Not the biggest stretch of imagination going.

Watching him yesterday reminded me a bit of meatloaf at the arena a few weeks ago. (Definitely doesnt look anywhere near fit to me).

Tom 14011
I thought Sissoko looked like he really gave a shit. Hard one really - we came out how I thought we would - incorrectly - our match plan failed in three minutes and was put to bed by 17. We came out chasing a 2 goal deficit - we were always going to be open at the back - Coutinho played like a genius. We stopped playing at 3 nil - they didn't. Nobody looked that fussed.
