Christmas Tree 4725
So you cured our attacking problems CT (not really) Any tips for the defence now? Well isn't Tiote gone for a while now? That will help as will Debuchy and Taylor starting for Norwich. It's worth bearing in mind though that we have just played three pretty decent teams. The next three will tell us more about where our seasons going.

OTF 7295
Have we actually played the most long balls in the league this season? If so, that's quite depressing.
Holden McGroin 6587
Yep. We played nice football against Arse and Man U then decided to play hoof ball v Everton. Odd.

It's a joke Why ??? The fans don't deserve this , I'm only 13 and I can tell his time has come I'm a lifetime Newcastle fan who has went down to Brighton today and witnessed a terrible display of football , we have lost 9 of the last 11 games that's relegation form . ToonMarshy 2
Anyone know whether theres any confirmation as to these Q&A's pitched at some charity event. Couple of interesting responses in there but dont like just taking sources from people without at least some sort of credibility Colo: wouldn't talk about it at all except to say that it is 100% personal problems and nothing to do with him wanting to go to another club. Ba: Should have sold him in the summer, the saga has affected the players and it's telling that he didn't contribute a single assist this season. Transfers: 100% thought they had Remy, everything was agreed and deal all but done. He likes Danny Graham but pretty much ruled out a move. Said he expects to make 2 big signings this window (classified above 8 million as what he counts as a big signing when talking about Remy) Said he thought we were signing 2 more players in the last week of the Summer window and seemed pretty pissed that he didn't get them. Said this January window is unique, normally teams wouldn't want to buy many players but the fear is all prices will be inflated in the summer due to all the extra money from the new tv deal. Gets phonecalls about signing Ben Arfa from clubs all the time. Said he should be back fit in about 3 weeks and that Ben Arfa always wants to come back too quickly (wanted to play the game after getting injured until they had a scan and saw he had really bad tear.) Would like to bring Carroll back if he sorts himself out and gets his head right. Young players: Thinks Adam Campbell could be a brilliant player, if we can get safe will see him before the end of the season. Likes Shane Ferguson but feels he lacks self confidence and needs to go out on loan. (in answer to why he didn't play him at Brighton). Set Plays: Said that we practice them loads but no longer have players like Nolan, Carroll etc who are aggressive in the box. Williamson only real target to aim for and he is not likely to produce anything. Edited January 18, 2013 by ToonMarshy
Brock Manson 0
I like Pards as a manager, and that won't change regardless of how we do this season because it's evident that whoever is in charge at the moment has to tread water in quicksand. If he can't get Fat Mike and Decca to stop fucking about and actually sign players who will improve the first team and get us back on the right track then who can? Aeris 0
Can't believe you're not disappointed with Pardew's performance as a manager this season. If a player plays shit, they get sold. If managers does a bad job, regardless of their "decent" history, they should get the sack.

sniffer 0
I'm not seeing much to support that thought. He seems pretty clueless to me and doesn't half come out with some drivel. At least the bulb has gone off and he now recognizes that relegation is a distinct possibility.

Monroe Transfer 0
I'd give him till the end of February. If we haven't improved by then (playing positive football might help), then he has to go. Even if the new man is a sideways step till the end of the season - at least he might have a honeymoon period.

Guest stormrider
In the previous decade, a Newcastle manager would get the sack for a lot less than this.
