Smacks of an Ashley cash in for me. Doesn't make any sense though from a business pov. He's got more to lose from his asset if we go down. Especially as it'll be much harder to come straight back up 2nd time round. Barton, Enrique, Collocini, Jonas, etc. just aren't going to hang around. When Redknapp fucks off to get the England job, I hope he gets the Spurs job and I wouldn't begrudge him anything, I'd love him to go to a club and build a legacy for 10 years of success, then that horrible obese bastard can look himself in the mirror and think why did I do that. Which club should you try to emulate to make a profit without any risk? Only 5 clubs reported a profit in the most recent accounts. Blackburn (7th), Spurs (11th) and Fulham (17th) all earned about £3m. But West Brom earned over £11m...in the Championship.
