Guest WDP
Did anyone catch MOTD2? I honestly don't think Lawrenson watched the game. He said Ameobi was the MOTM and was 'absolutely magnificent!' That sums Lawrenson up, a saggy necked wife beater from Gosforth. I had it on like but was seeing 3 tellies, he could've said Jackie Milburn was man of the match and I wouldn't have noticed.

They all do my head in apart from Lineker. Hansen, Lawro are old and tired now, they should chuck it, and Shearer never tells you anything interesting, it's always stuff you already know. I'd get Ian Wright on me at least he's a good laugh.
Barney 0
You're missing out on the Irish coverage lads-great stuff. Dunphy ranting like a lunatic, Giles is full of interesting info and even Souness can be enjoyable as he's not on the sky leash.

I detest him, I'd love to meet him to give him a verbal volley of inflammatory, derogatory, rude remarks. He truly is a total fuckin cunt, I hate him. Dr Gloom 21760
bitter dour jock tbh. i accept he was a class player but he's been a shite manager every club he's been to bar rangers and maybe galatasaray so why the fuck do sky keep wheeling him out as an expert match analyst. may as well have joe kinnear giving his full time thoughts

When he was a player was the worst time in our history. He's a cunt, was a disaster waiting to happen when FFS appointed him.

Barney 0
Shit manager, shit person, shit tan, dodgy ticker. Entertaining pundit though. He also fucking dismantled an excellent team. He was like a natural disaster, ripping through the club.
Dolly Potter MD 0
It was a good goal, from a teamplay point of view. Normally Alex [and his predecessors at the centrehalve position, same goes for other 'football playing' sides], a skillful & powerful footballer in his own right would have tried to turn the zonal-defending forward inside-out before playing his way out of trouble. The forced option/back-pass Alex pays tribute to the presence Carroll provides when defending from the front [physical presence both in terms of power & his level of agility for a big man, and his ever improved finishing]. Offers a different threat to Bellamy who could shut down an exchange of passing just with his pure pace - it was offensive that Martins [with his physical attributes] rarely displayed the same workrate. Whereas Carroll is more formidable physical match [a direct one-on-one match-up] for playmaking centrehalves whose tendancy is to bring it out form the back.
