Christmas Tree 4848
A simple question.... What is your favourite iconic / famous photo of all time? One only please for those of you who are undecisive. For the young'uns, here are some examples of the sort of thing I mean.... Marylin Monroe or Neil Armstrong My favourite has always being "Men on Girder". Not sure if thats the right name or the history of the shot but Ive always loved it and just recently bought it. Monkeys Fist 43097
Taken by Robert Capa in 1936 during the Spanish Civil War. He was in the right place at the right time. The soldier wasn't.

The soldier wasn't. Very interesting so I decided to have a quick look at the history of it / him and by all accounts its now considered to be a fake (posed). Dont know if you knew that. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Falling_Soldier The bloke must have had balls of steel to take those shots at Omaha beach with his back to the German machine gun fire.
