And it's not just on the field....

There's a lot of work, I do take the occasional day off but you can't switch off, you don't have a day off where you do nothing. My chin is very firmly up but a day doing nothing would be nice. We do need to bring in another member of staff.

I have a very good staff but it's small, Sam Allardyce had a very big staff with him here [with Blackburn Rovers last Wednesday] and Fulham also have a very big staff. This, though, is what we have. We just hope it's addressed soon. We need to replace Colin.

I'd play Carroll in a wheelchair before we consider Lovenkrands again let alone him off Nolan.

Let's be honest after a certain poster's recent run of crap, you'd think shame would stop them from posting more and more shite.

Heard off playing on the ground boys rather than hoofing it .

You're the first person to mention hoofing it though. And you still need to be able to play with your back to goal if you're playing upfront irrespective of the tactics. Especially if you're immobile like Nolan.

Xisco's got nothing to lose. Play, do nothing and people will think he's shit, play and be ok and people will think he's shit, play and have a blinder and people will think he's got lucky. Wasn't hold up play his speciality in Spain? Granted it was in Spain, but Ranger is far too raw to start.

I think we'll still see Carroll anyway. If Shola's not ready to come back it will be alongside Nolan otherwise Shola will be back. I'd probably prefer Guthrie in the middle over Nolan so wouldn't mind if Shola's not fully fit.

Give Xisco some game time, I say. His pass to set up that Carroll goal in the Villa game was top notch, and although he had a couple of dodgey touches there is no point having him as an unused squad player if we're so low on strikers.

From the small amounts we've seen of Xisco hes never looked a world beater but hes definitely not looked like he should be behind Ranger, Lovelyhands and a 13 year old we signed from Benfield Road Middle as he currently appears to be.

One more game though and it might cost the fat twat £££

Agree with Peter but (and I'm just guessing like) I get the feeling it's an attitude thing with him. Funny as he was on the fringes at the start of the season.

Maybe we could get Meenzer to straighten him out.
