I'd have started Routledge RW and Guthrie CM with Nolan off Carroll. Never been impressed with Guthrie on the wing

Yeah, I'd worry that he'll drift inside too much and leave Wilson unprotected against Duff.

Whos's Wilson when he's at home?

It's Simpson I'm just mocking the doddering old fool Noelie

btw it's being reported that Duff is starting at full back. I'd be tempted to bring Routledge on quite early to take advantage of Duff's inability in that position.

We've started approximately 400 times better than we did against Blackburn.

Good passing and movement, and Enrique just let Andy Johnson know that he won't beat him for pace.

Carroll/Lovenkrands unlucky not to score. Nolan in the way for Carroll's first time left footed volley, then Schwarzer with a good save from Lovenkrands well hit follow up.

We started really well, nice passing and movement but Fulham have come back into it. Credit to them they're actually playing so it's a much much more enjoyable game than the Blackburn one. 10 mionutes in and I reckon I'd already had more enjoyment than the full 90 against Blackburn.

Enrique's driving runs are really troubling them. Lovenkrands is doing ok as well. Guthrie on the right hasn't been bad, likes getting his crosses in as early as possible unfortunately whenever he's done that they have been well read by the Fulham defense.

It should be a good second half.

Half time analysis.

Not too gutted, could have had a couple.

Guthrie, so far, a very poor mans Barton.

Lovenkrands hopeless. Need to play it on the ground if he is going to have any effect.

Nolan offering little in way of breaking down their defence.

At some point Vuckic has to get a shout ( if he's on the bench?)

1 goal and I think they'll crumble.

Tiote back on form.

Enrique doing well when he ignores Jonas and goes himself.

Jonas........ Tart

Nolan's having another quiet and ineffectual game, hopefully this post results in a goal or a substitution.

Good tackle in the box from Williamson.

Geez, they just hit the crossbar.

Referee just separated Dempsey and Tiote.

Tiote could be off here.... stupid stupid challenge.

Survives it, just. Dempsey should have been carded for the reaction.
