How tall are you and what weight are you, Sugartits?

Ugh, this is gonna take ages. I'll have a look this week and try to pull out the main bits.

Shouldnt take that long to pick one out from the main explanatory chapter. I'd expect chapter 1 to deal with the scientific premise.

Am even a bit interested as I've just been through an unwanted fast because of that bug. Water even went through me as fast as gravity could carry it. Not sure they are comparable but the weight loss effect probably was.

Ok, there's a lot. <_< Let me know if you'd sooner just read the book (it's probably a couple of hours reading) and I'll send it to you. To me, he puts together a very convincing case, although that's assuming the references below are legit and proper studies. This should be good for the bandwidth problems.....

It usually takes me at least an hour to critically appraise a paper and you can't do it from the title or even the abstract.

My advice? Stop being so gay.

At it's most basic level all you have to do is balance the energy in and energy out equation so it gives a deficit (presuming you want to lose weight). Everything else is likely to be bollocks. Of course if you fast you're generally going to eat less.

I know you know this anyway mind.

Had a great few days at the gym, I can't believe how much more energy I have for staying off the drink for a few weeks. Usually my workouts at the beginning of the week can feel a little sluggish but had none of that recently. I've enjoyed losing weight so much I'll almost be a tiny bit disappointed to hit my goal weight and have to maintain a steady weight. :(

Well, being a bit off reservation of late what with a mini holiday and other things so missed three weigh ins. Went last Monday and had put on 5lbs (Thankfully the leader whispered the result so my shame was limited).

Think Ive had a reasonable week this week so looking for 1 or 2 off tonight.

:D

Cheeky bastard.

Not changing jobs Holden, got a couple of weeks abseiling down the inside of this 100m stack to shift debris that's built up since the accident in the 50s. As it's an "active" area we have to do a bit of extra training. Only allowed to work in there for 1.5 hrs a day, so it'll take a while.

If it's that radioactive, bollocks to that!

Sorry Chez, my twisted eyes read something else entirely.

Re. The radiation levels, a test measurement showed the levels to be 1/5 less than the maximum allowed level- however that was measured before we hairy-arsed abseilers have been in kicking up radioactive dust.

1st time in we have to do level checks every 2 minutes. If it gets above a certain level, GTFO.

All this whilst taped into a full body PVC suit with a re-breather mask on. Gimptastic! <_<
