How tall are you and what weight are you, Sugartits?

It's april 4th, I got up at 5am and I've only had one ten minute shit (about 50/50 crapping and wiping) so far today. I've been eating a lot more fruit and veg, up to 8 portions a day, and my stool has improved dramatically. I've lowered the intake of dairy foods, and also spread out my meals into smaller portions during the day. Usually by now I'd be touching cloth on my 3rd poo of the day, but currently there is no danger of any turtle heads; I can feel no ominous movements in my sphincter whatsoever. What a success story, I am thrilled, and I cannot recommend eating more fruit and veg highly enough.

I've also started training again and am using low weights currently whilst getting the form correct. Once I am in a bit better shape I will up the weight, with any luck my stool will have improved even further, though I am absolutely euphoric having made this much progress with it.

Well had a good go in the gym today 1hr on the cross trainer. 806 calories burned off.

nah, it's legit according to a trainer I trust who's been using it. I won't use it as would interfere with other stuff I do, but basically he gets his meals between 10am and 10pm? or maybe it's 12pm and 8pm and then organises his weight training around that. anyway it's way less severe than I expected when I first read about it.

I usually try a 24 hour 'interval'. I'm guessing the types of 'interval' differ somewhat.

Aye I think there's different ways of doing it. I've had a blast where you basically eat your dinner one day then don't eat again til dinner time the next night. You still go to the gym and go about your normal business, you just don't eat. There's an ebook that can be found in all the usual places called Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon.

Aye I think there's different ways of doing it. I've had a blast where you basically eat your dinner one day then don't eat again til dinner time the next night. You still go to the gym and go about your normal business, you just don't eat. There's an ebook that can be found in all the usual places called Eat Stop Eat by Brad Pilon.

Not saying these sort of things arent good for you or this particular book is wrong but when you read them, try to work out if the arguments are based on ideas and theories or outcomes of controlled studies. If the books have made at least some effort to draw upon evidence and look at scientific research (and they dont do you any harm) then i guess they are worth giving a go. However, in my experience, there is very little evidence to back these things up, just theories. The best thing you can do is put up a link to the references and research these books are based on and me and Renton will tell you whether its credible or not <_<

 

A colleague used to talk about fasting quite a bit, she was stick thin and quite possibly clinically insane.

the lad that gave it his seal of approval does this sort of thing for a living, and is very scientifically-minded, which is why I think it's prob a cut above a lot of stuff.
