 Didn't heard about that. Did he think everybody waved to him as he went past and said 'Hi, Hitler!'? Jesus fucking wept.

Aye that was it :o was a good few years ago. I'll see if I can find a pic later. I bet he's popular in Croydon, it's hardly an all white supremist bastion.

The tattooist must have been creasing himself laughing while he was doing it mind.

I tell you what it is when you grow up drinking round the WEST End half the people you see have them. There's not the stigma attached to them now there once was. I think 20/30 years ago it was something a heed the baal would do getting a tattoo. The classic ones I remember so called big hard men with LOVE on one fist HATE on the other, honestly, and the classic bluebird on the neck.

ACAB :icon_lol: Saw a bloke with a dotted line round his neck with 'Cut Here' above it as well. Not can tell the prison/borstal spot type ones a mile off. Apparently there's a fella in Consett got a swastika on his face as well.

What about that nazi who was in the paper from Croydon. He got HI HITLER tattooed on his napa, because he didn't realise it was HEIL HITLER, stuck with it for life.

:lol::o

How Kampf!

Not sure if it has been mentioned in the last 4 pages but you should definitely have one bad meal a week, if you constantly eat under calories your metabolism slows down so you need to shock it.

You should never "starve" yourself either, I was told something a while ago that sounded pretty good. Your metabolism is like a fire, if you pile the wood on it will go out, not put enough on it will go out so you need to put little bits in on a regular basis (think it's every 3-4 hours) to keep it going at it's optimum.

Obviously you need to look at what you are eating at what times, like not having carbs too late.

I'll have to remember that one.

I don't think I could get fat if I tried. I eat shitloads, about 2500 calories a day and I can't put weight on (I do exercise a bit, nothing special). The physical effort it would take for me to consume enough food to become fat would be staggering, it seems impossible.

I got up at 5 am today and had 4 weetabix. at about 12 I had a 1000 calorie breakfast (4 eggs, 2 bacon, beans, 5 toast, cheese, very tasty). I've just eaten a huge rump steak big enough for two men, with a large portion of potato wedges and steamed vegetables. I'll have another meal later and I'm still not fat. I cycled 10 minutes to work and back and did roughly 45 minutes exercise, but I don't push it very hard. I consider myself lazy, as I spend far too much time on the fucking internet and could get a lot more done in the day. But how fucking lazy would you have to be to get fat? A complete lack of physical movement - other than eating constantly - would be required, and you'd have to shovel down mountains of food, sickly stuff as well like ice cream and sausages.

If I ate any more I'd fucking explode. Need to get more fruit and veg in there though. I eat so much normal men wouldn't be able to walk after eating the meals I eat. Huge bowls of chili and rice as big as half a football, whallop it down like it's nothing. Fair enough I eat mainly healthy food, but the amounts involved you'd think I'd get fat, especially how people go on these days about how hard it is to stay in shape. I suppose if I ate the same portions but just ice cream and fried sausages I'd pack on some weight.

If you are eating stuff your body needs/makes us of you will struggle to put on weight.

Do you like peanut butter/nuts? I would eat more of stuff like that if you do and lots of carbs, especially late at night.

I smash some carbs down after 9pm quite often, just do a pasta or something. I regularly eat late. My stool is frequent and explosive, I must drop about 18 lbs a day, probably the reason I'm not putting weight on. Trying to build strength now with workouts, but I'm just starting again after christmas, will increase the intensity when I can. When people see the portions I eat they are genuinely shocked, no one eats meals like this in normal society unless they are obese. I often have (in one sitting) a bowl of porridge, then a plate with eggs, beans, hash brown, mushrooms and some bread to top it off. I'll eat again 3/4 hours later, and on it goes. Some of the reactions I've had (to my meals) are: "that's a hearty breakfast", and, "that is a big meal you're eating there"

You can still lose weight by starving yourself tbh, it's just probably not a good idea health wise, or very enjoyable.

and as soon as you start eating again you will pile it on.

Aye, I told this to a lad I went to school with who did a starvation diet type thing and he told me I had no idea what I was talking about. He dropped a few stone then as soon as he started eating his body instantly stored it all as fat obviously not knowing when the next meal would come and he promptly put it all back on plus extra

That's the thing, you will lose weight doing it but when it goes back on you often get even bigger.

See so many girls at work do really well, lose loads of weight then a few months later they are huge® again. I really don't think weightwatchers and the likes are any good unless you are trying to lose weight for a one off event.

Makes MUCH more sense to find stuff that you like but is good for you and eat right rather than "diet".

Each to their own and that but I must admit I've always assumed Weight Watchers etc are a load of shite. I know loads who've tried it and they've lost a bit here and there but never maintained it. I was talking to someone the other week who's tried it 4 or 5 different times and she still didn't seem to know the most basic things about healthy eating. I know many think it'll spur them on getting weighed once a week with others etc but in my experience I've found that deep down you know whether you've put the effort in or not and therefore whether you're likely to have lost or gained weight so I've never found it the slightest bit appealing.

Absolutely. The key to fat loss is eating smaller meals but more of them. I eat about 6 to 8 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones but I don't over eat. I eat slowly and stop as soon as im full. If you over eat your body will only burn what it needs as fuel then store the rest as fat. The key is getting enough calories so your body doesn't go into starvation mode and getting plenty of excarcise.

Agree with those that say it isn't worth it if you cut out treats altogether. I never skip my Friday night curry

Weight watchers is a massive waste of time - no doubt. Atkins etc is too because you're never going to keep it up then you'll just put the weight straight back on.

Yep. They're not long term things. I used to be daft as a brush when I was a kid, and when I was 19 worked with this lass, and ALL she talked about was her weight. She was nee mini me like, she needed to lose 3 stone, so she came in with this printed sheet one day about this amazing diet called the soup diet. She said right am gonna lose a stone in a week on this, so I bet her she wouldn't, and took the bet further by saying I'd do it too and I bet I could lose more in a week than her. Was fucking totally stupid of me 6ft2 12 and a half stone I had absolutely fuck all to lose. The diet was pure soup largely cabbage and V8 juice and green vegetables and by day 3 you were allowed some beef. Anyway I pissed it lost 16lbs and was weaker than I've ever been, and sent me round the bend like ketamine mentally, she lost 10lbs and she was pleased as fuck, but she still had to give me £20, but within 3 weeks she put it all back on. So they NEVER work. Gejon's advice is absolutely fuckin spot on, 5 small meals a day is THE best way of losing it if you're lazy.

A lass from work went to Slimming World last night and has come in this morning full of excitement. I quote: "I can eat basically as much as I want, more than I eat now, and I don't have to do any exercise but it'll probably be easier if I do a little bit, and it must be working because everyone had lost loads last night" then she went into some sort of a description that seemed to involve eating numerous chocolate bars a day. :o

Can't wait to see how it pans out.

I've only lost 1lb this week like. I reckon I'm all muscle though.

14 - 7 last week (middle of week) and with a half hearted attempt, down to 14 - 5 today

Derby weekend certainly fucked me up and on Monday I was back up to 14-6, however after three days of eating well Im now at 14-3.

Have also started glancing favourably in the direction of the treadmill so it should only be a matter of days before I venture back on and reallly get the weight off.

Expecting to be under 14 stone by next week.
