Deano 0
Have we now found the starting 11 thats going to keep us up? And comfortably? I think we mite just of. On the last two league performances we have seen a very well drilled team. A team who is fluid and a great chemistry on the pitch aswell as a great desire and team spirit. Putting Barton out on the right might just be a stroke of genius. Him and Simpson look to be linkin up well what with joey's creativity and ever improving form and danny's overlapping runs and return to fitness. We continue to see jose and jonas work well on the left and through the middle we are also seeing some great partnerships forged. Willo and Colo have looked solid all season and have really impressed. They must take alot of credit. Tiote and Nolan looks to be a great mix of tenacity composure and movement. Goals, running beyond the strikers, closing down, ball winning and ball retention. And finally we are starting to properly see Carrolls potential. His all round game is improving all the time. For a big lad, not only is he great in the air but he is well able with the ball at his feet. Brings so much more than just goals. Strola has looked good last two games too. Link up, good touches and an eye for goal. This...IS the team that will keep us up. Strong starting 11 and some decent depth in the two taylors, kadar and sol in defence. Guthrie, routledge, vuckic and smith in midfield and lovenkrands and ranger upfront. That said it is still apparent we are 2 players away from what we need. Come on Mike, do whats right and bring in a striker, and another winger of good quality as backup.
Ayatollah Hermione 13762
A team playing football like that isn't going down. The squad doesn't have much quality depth but it still has Ben Arfa to come back and Gosling to feature.
ewerk 30167
That team today is good enough to keep us up, however, an injury to the likes of Enrique, Carroll or even Jonas may see us struggle. But we've got a good base to work from.

Im hopefull about gosling but like guthrie where will he fit in when fit? One for the future imo. Him and vuckic a future CM pairing.

The Fish 10674
I said before there's a balance to this side which I like. I'm still worried about our ability to break down well drilled sides. Remember we couldn't beat Stoke, Blackpool or Wigan at home.

Deano 0
Arsenal away next Sunday should be a good test. Will be a completely different game to last week. We will go out with our strongest team and on the back of two great wins. I think arsenal will obviously boss it being the home side and of better quality but we will stand strong play a bit of football ourselves and snatch a 1-1 draw. OTF 7215
Arsenal away next Sunday should be a good test. Then Blackburn on the bounce at home 3 days later... I'm picking that Chris may ring in some changes for the Arsenal match then return to our top 11 for the FSA Route 1 Display.

Remember we couldn't beat Stoke, Blackpool or Wigan at home. Thing is we didn't send out the current team for those games, it was the 4-4-1-1 with Perch at RB. Simpson last night looked like everything we've hoped for in a right back and you just know with him in the team and playing like that we wouldn't have dropped points against Wigan or Blackpool. And if CH hadn't bottled it against Stoke and subbed Tiote - well who knows.

Dr Gloom 21760
Arsenal away next Sunday should be a good test. i wouldn't be too surprised if he reverted to 4-5-1 for that but would be nice to see him stick to the winning side. you have to wonder whether this 4-4-2 will be strong enough to mix it with the top sides but on this form, we should stick with it against the rest. tiote is the player that makes it work. you need a defensive midfielder of his class to get away with playing one fewer int he middle of the park than most teams put out these days. Rob W 0
I think we have enough threat and bustle to take on the majority of PL clubs on an equal basis the problem comes against the teams that can hold the ball for ages against us - and Arsenal are surely one of those When we have the ball we can normally cause them problems but I have real doubts about our ability to get the ball in the first place We need a couple of top class mid fielders to step up a notch
Kid Dynamite 6964
Despite getting humped on Wednesday (which arsenals kids have done to better teams than us so there was no shame in it) it showed that we actually have a decent squad imo. To back up our starting 11 we have STaylor RTaylor Gosling Ben arfa Ranger Routledge Lovenkrands Smith Kadar Harper Vuckic Perch That's a good squad of 23 to rival most outside the top 6 imo Edited November 1, 2010 by Kid Dynamite

But you cant really drop Shola or Carroll at the moment.
sweetleftpeg 0
Don't change a winning team. Especially one that's just destroyed the opposition. Is destroyed a bit harsh? No, probably about right.

No doubt he will appear about the 70Th mark as we are pushing for an equaliser/winner.
