Middlesbrough have named former Celtic boss Tony Mowbray as the new manager at the Riverside.

 

The former Celtic, West Bromwich Albion and Hibernian boss will take over following Gordon Strachan's departure last week.

 

Boro currently lie third from bottom in the Championship having won just one game all season.

 

A press conference will be held at 1530 BST to unveil Mowbray, who played at for the club for over ten years.

He prob will. Strachan isn't a bad manager, but he's not good either. This appointment was a nailed on cert too.

 

Says a lot though when he bought all those best players from Scotland and they are struggling.

The Smoggies next 2 games are against Bristol City and Crystal Palace lose both of them and he has one hell of a job keeping them up imo.
