I don't see Routy being capable of putting in a decent cross. Lovenkrands wouldn't be able to use his pace as Westham won't step up from their 18yard line. Think most of them put a decent shift in, especially second half and if we can follow it by beating the mackems we'll suddenly be full of confidence and way up the table. Barton was appalling and then suddenly turned into Luis Figo for a minute on the right; Carrol wasn't going to miss a free header from 5 yards. Thought Carroll's positioning was poor at times, was turning up on the left byline when Gutierezz was there, should have been in the box. Terrific performance overall, especially 2nd half we absolutely dominated a very poor WH team. Credit to Hughton for the line-up and keeping the players in check. He gave Simpson and Carroll a talking to when they were mucking about and that sorted them out. Really needed that result. Now beat the Mackems and we can kick on.
