To be fair I think we've played better than the table shows, we were extremely unlucky to not have won at least two of the games we lost and that was down to very bad reffing decisions. We've been playing alright so far this season and I'm sure there's three teams worse than us in the league.

 

... just hope I'm right and we manage to avoid relegation again - we really are better than that.

 

Spot on however the loss of Arfa and a decent striking options has dented what could have otherwise being a really decent first season back.

 

Thinks it going to be a horrible scrap and survival will depend mainly on what can be done in January.

 

Definitely shouldnt get rid of Hughton. Let him have a full season at it come what may.

We all have an opinion as to what is best for our club. At that time i was of the opinion that CH had got us back into the big time but for us to properly re-establish ourselves we would need a better manager. I still stand by that opinion.

 

Difference now is we have started the new season and we should stick with him. Until the end of THIS season.

And as for many wild optimistic quotes, what relevance have those to what you were initially talkin about? Just finding something else to have a go for?

 

I'd rather be optimistic and wrong than pessimistic and right, at least this way i still get excited and get some enjoyment out of what is ment to be a pleasure.

Im just a positive person most of the time and i just dont see enough at the moment to suggest we will get relegated like some suggest.

 

There are issues however but we are only 8 games in.

Tbh and shoot me down if you like but i think this is a decent decision...No he may not be a world beater or massive name but come on guys we were never gonna get someone in with a massive reputation on a short term basis.

Im encouraged by this...he will provide help for Hughten and coaching staff and hold the fort for 6 games.

He seems to think the takeover will be done in next few weeks which is good news, and secondly thinks that with the new owners KK and wor Al will come in. All in all im pleased with this news.

My point still stands...what joy do you get in life if your constantly pessimistic?

Well...No.

 

Martins, Viduka, Owen, Given, Milner, Bassong and N'Zogbia are all better than what we have now.

 

Thing is though all of those didnt want to be here, didnt want to wear the shirt and when they were playing they didnt give a shit.

 

Where as what we have now is a squad less technically gifted but all fighting for the cause.

 

I think we have a squad capable of staying up comfortably....comfortably being about 12th but as for talent we are a long way off what we had.

 

If those players who left actually wanted to play for us, actually felt for the club then we wouldnt of been in this situation in the 1st place.
