nortoon 0
Difference with those passes Barton tried today though had alot to do with Ameobi. Carroll chases those while Ameobi donkeys around. Then again Barton should realise that.
Kevin S. Assilleekunt 1
Ameobi is an easy scapegoat, the difference was the ref today. Can't remember a worse reffing performance in terms of blatant bias.

LeazesMag 0
we played with a lot of spirit. Ultimately we lack quality, and it's quality that you need. Spirit won't last when a few more defeats take their toll. Relegation candidates.

I'd add beating Villa 6-0, beating Everton away (comfortably), being the only team to win at Stamford Bridge since God knows, and putting away 4 in the process whilst having yet another dodgy penalty awarded against us. I'd agree injuries are worrying, same old story of the squad being too thin. Should be at least 3 worse teams though. Hopefully.

Havent read the thread as just arrived in from the pub and made home made tomato soup (a story for another thread). We wuz robbed sums it up for me. Once again a decent display against a top team and we should have come away with a point at least.
Papa Lazaru 0
"There is no malice in Nigel whatsoever," said City assistant-manager Brian Kidd. "He is not that type of lad." I was waiting to see which moronic cunt would be first to come out with this, and Kidd gets the award, hopefully he'll get hit by a car sometime soon and have his own leg smashed and see if he thinks the driver "isn't that sort of lad"

Mentioned it just after the tackle. I'm with Wenger, he should get a three match ban retrospectively. Not enough is being done to punish what is basically GBH. Phil 6
Positives Tiote is a proper football [/souness] he was excellent you just know when he does something its more than likely going to be quality, Battling spirit the team seemed together. Composure - they couldnt getthe ball off us for 20 mins in the first half, we don't panic under pressure ever, which is good Williamson played ok Campbell can still shift despite his build Negatives I'm sorry like but until the last 20 minutes Perch did everything wrong, it was like we didn't have a right back, he's 1990/1991 standard at best. Ben Arfa worst thing that's happened to NUFC since relegation Barton 9/10 for effort 4/10 for application he tries too many passes that are just not on The ref - biggest cunt ref since Brian Coddington in 1992. He needs to answer a few questions, such as if he was that convinced it was a foul on Tevez, why with no one around did he not send Williamson off, why did he not look at his linesman, before he gave it, and how could he possibly turn down one of the most blatant pens you've ever seen for us???? Disgusting really, but keep the faith, we're holding our own and there's only 3 sides that are light years away from us in terms of starting elevens. Well played lads. I thought in the last 20 minutes everything went down Enrique side. I agree with Barton's performance, I'd put it down to him trying too hard as it was his against his former club. Totally agree with the rest. Campbell looks in good shape for his age and together with Williamson always look like scoring on corners. Exactly, needs to be sorted retrospectively if refs are two gutless or shit to do the job. And if its a complete horror tackle then the player can be banned till his victim makes his return to football, they'd think twice about snapping a players leg if they themselves would be out for months. Also in similar vein, they can get rid of the stupid fucking rule when a ref completely fucks up a decision and gives a yellow and they aren't allowed to review it. Utterly moronic, it means Felaini against us and Gerrard vs the mackems get away with elbows because two cheating refs gave yellows, just overturn it to reds and dump the refs into league 2. Think they overturned Ben Thatcher's flying elbow to Pedro Mendes a few years ago (was given a yellow by the ref) to a ban for several matches. Should have been a watershed moment but wasn't. Yeah that's right, i remember that one, it was absolutely appalling, though no surprise as he specialised in stuff like that. So if they can do it once they can do it everytime, but that would require them to be capable of doing a worthwhile job and we all know that won't happen. Still eventually one day a player might end the career of a man or chelsea player and all hell will break lose, but until then the likes of us will just have to see our players get their careers put at risk.
