McFaul 35
Just been talkin to Geordio Armani in PM about Kirin. Honestly I can not stress this enough, you have never had a lager till you've had this. The Forth surely is not the only place in the NE that sells it. Someone needs to tell me where you can get it. I tried that place in Jesmond too - nee good. Tastes even better than it looks. It's just a shame The Forth is so poncey doonstairs.

Aye the stuff you get in the supermarket is nowt like this stuff. This is a canny bit drier, but much nicer tasting. If you can't be fucked to go to the place, and you live near the coast, there's a deli in Tynemouth that stocks it. Its called the deli round the corner and is just off Front Street. Failing that, if you look on their website it lists a load of places you can get it. Definitely worth checking it out. Nice with a pint or whatever. I would buy a small amount to start with to see if you like it though. The Cajun Spice one is nice if you like spicy stuff.

I'm at my dad's for two nights, dropped in here not expecting much... http://lambtonhounds.webeden.co.uk/ Can buy it around Leeds/York/Hgate; http://www.rudgatebrewery.co.uk/where-to-buy.aspx a full 10 TS's from me like, but I obsess over dark smooth, nutty beer. Looks like a cracking little pub that. I think that's the same turn off the A1 as my nanna's (but the other way). I've found myself getting more into the lighter hoppier/IPA's as that's where the artisan breweries seem to have concentrated their work but if you do find a genuinely good dark beer it's always hard to beat, particularly Autumn/Winter months.
