In the past months I've played as Newcastle against teams like Barcelona, Chelsea, Arsenal, etc, and was able to get some great results (2-2 v Barca, 3-0 v Arsenal), but now that Andy has been removed theres really no point. Least Barton has better stats now however Ireland is really shit. Williamson is now up to 73 on stats and how Campbell is still 75 is beyond me! Is there a toontastic champion on FIFA? least when they quit now you get a minimum 3-0 win for it if you check your player hub on ea.com, so you still get the ranking points but it is annoying as fuck. If you quit before 5 minutes of the 90 then the game gets null and voided. It's in case the other player has bad lag and you want to pull out. Had some guy quit out on me a couple of days ago when I scored in the third minute. I think EA should maybe look to address that problem whereby if someone is winning, award the win and if its a draw then just give no points to any party. JamesD 0 Posted February 24, 2011 Share Posted February 24, 2011 Played a few games since the update, almost everyone has picked Bayern Munich. :S Hammered them 4-1 in one game with Gyan getting all 4, then played the laggiest game ever against Blackpool and managed to get beat 3-1, he was shit anarl. Such a pity to think that Carrolls rating rocketed and we would have been a very good team online to go. In terms of online play, I have the odd freezes however that's due to other players poor connections. I have no bother with my connection. Whose everyones favoured team? I try my best to go Newcastle but with the Barcelonas and the Real Madrid mob, I always end up going Spain. Chelsea are my boogie team! Especially now they have an over rated Torres. Neville Neville Neville 0 Posted March 28, 2011 Share Posted March 28, 2011 Finally ditched in my much loved (and updated) pro evo 6 on the ps2 and upgraded to a ps3 and fifa 11. Had played a ridiculous amount of pro evo offline over the years (my last fifa was 2000 on ps1 I think), so thought I'd make the switch to the other side. When started fifa, I thought I'd prefer the challenge of playing fully manual (after easily winning the first couple of games on semi-pro with the assisted stuff). Was wondering if anyone else played fully manual, and if you feel like you have 360 degree axis control. I'm struggling to fine tune anything between 45 degree intervals. The other main difference is the ease of being tackled when dribbling which is completely different to what i've been used to. Haven't really got used to using the skills all the time to beat a man. Any tips on which couple of effective, fairly simple to do skills, I need to adopt as standard use Might be up for some online gaming at some point but not just yet. Had a first taste just playing the 11 vs 11. 1st game was quite civilised, the next 3 were gung ho 8 on 2 attack vs defence-fests. Got the feeling noone else was unassisted.
